Food came quickly, tasted great! My only gripe is that the menu is rather limited, so not much to choose from if you don’t fancy a carvery or burger. Staff very polite and helpful.

Very disappointing. One of our meals was good, in fairness, but the other one was lukewarm and obviously halfheartedly prepared. Also, half a soggy,cold piece of cauliflower in a flavourless sauce does not constitute cauliflower wings". Felt ripped off - for a similar price we could have had 2 properly cooked main meals with infinitely better quality ingredients at a farm cafe 5 mins away. Will not be revisiting."

I had been once before and my daughter loved it so much wanted to go again for her birthday! For her that’s a massive compliment as she normally doesn’t like a carvery. Food was hot and delicious

Carvary is amazing and great value for money. We have started coming regularly as the whole family love the food. The staff are wonderful make you feel really welcome and make a fuss of the children. Andy, Ellie and Janice made us feel really welcome and met all our needs

We've been pleasantly surprised visiting the Featherbed. As your typical chain pub we weren't expecting too much but both of our recent visits have been great. Clean glasses, no sticky tables or menus which is refreshing to experience. Staff very friendly and accommodating towards our little one.Food has been good quality too. Overall we've been happy with our visits and would definitely visit again.

Good clean modern pub with spacious well laid out indoor seating areas. During nice weather there is also a good amount of outdoor seating. My food was served very quickly, with decent portions and therefore good value for money. The staff were friendly and very approachable and make you feel very welcome. The general atmosphere and ambience of the pub was very good, with excellent lighting and background music at the right sound level. Would recommend a visit without any hesitation whatsoever.

Came in as a group of seven, waited at the bar twice to be ignored by the bar man Andy who served a man who had came to the bar each time after myself when there was only myself at the bar. A young girl came out if the kitchen to serve me twice and none if the staff were friendly polite or had any customer service skills. A lovely lady came over to see how our food was which was ok but didn't agree with paying £5.95 for 3 cheese bites. Absolutely awful non approcable bar staff

Awful. Didn’t even get to order drinks or food before walking out.I booked a week in advance for 4 adults to be given a table shoved in the corner of the kids section, this table wasn’t even one of their restaurant tables but looked like one used for the kids, red with drawing over it.I politely went up to the bar and asked if it was possible we could be moved actually into the restaurant area as I had booked in advance and didn’t expect to be put in the corner of the kids play area! To which I was told if I wanted to move I’d have to go on a waiting list and the rudest part was I got told “you get what you’ve given and that’s what you got”!!! I thought being spoken to like that was disgusting. And walked out to go for a lovely meal up the road at The Two Henry’s, where we enjoyed a lovely meal and lovely service. I will never go back and will warn everyone of our experience.

Booked a Sunday Lunch slot online whilst in the car on our way to Shrewsbury, brilliant idea. Arrived slightly early but there no was no problem with this. Taken to our table, ordered at the bar, straight up for our Carvery, plenty of it, hot and Tasty. Polite and friendly staff. Food really good value for money
