Bella Amica Dog School

My 15 week old Labrador and I have been attending the 6 week Puppy Course with Andy.. we completed week 4 today. Andy is amazing, his knowledge and guidance is spot on. He takes the time to help everyone individually as well as a group and makes the class fun for all! My pup and I have learnt so much already, thanks Andy!!

Worth every penny!!!!We enrolled on Andy's 3 week, puppy boot camp for our 4 month old Border Collie.Not only does Andy guide you through training your puppy, he also explains reasons behind your puppy's behaviours making it easier to train your dog.Andy has great humour, amazing knowledge and you can see the passion he has for dogs.After a disappointing experience with our previous trainer, which left us feeling a bit discouraged, Andy has armed us with all the tools and tips to help us be the best doggie owners we can be.I would highly recommend Bella Amica to help train your 4 - legged friend. Andy came to our home and did a personal assessment on our pup, providing us with some great ideas on diet, training, coaching and developing for our Labrador. The email that he sent us following the visit, demonstrates his commitment and on-going support, as well as the assurance that he is always there when you need him.

We have been so surprised in the change in our puppy Teddy's behaviour since we have been putting Andys training ideas in action.Andy is very professional and obviously loves what he does.He has a very calming personality.We are looking forward to attending the Game of Bones classes.

Andy came around today for a home consultation. From the word go he was professional, warm, and informative. He has a natural gift of explaining dog behaviours and various solutions to them.Within a few short minutes he was getting our cockerpoo, Pippin, doing things he'd never done before - correcting bad behaviours in front of our eyes.After the visit, he sent us an amazing email detailing what we went through during the visit and links too so many different resources.I totally would recommend using Bella amica dog school. We took our 3 month old puppy to the puppy classes with Andy and it's been incredibly helpful. Although it won't transform your dog instantly it gives you the tools to keep working on everything you need to. Andy is very good at explaining why your dog may be doing certain things, which in turn makes it a lot easier to avoid/redirect behaviours. Also, the classes are invariably good fun.

Had a fab session with Andy for our two cocker spaniels, Lemon and Bee who struggle mostly with barking and getting overexcited. Andy's gentle approach really helped us navigate the best ways to keep our dogs calm and to get them to start following us for direction. Definitely recommend Bella Amica and will use again in the near future.

We had a one to one home visit with Andy, to help with walking our very over excited labrador in the forest behind us. Andy gave us so many useful tips and has so much knowledge in explaining why dogs act the way they do. We would highly recommend Bella Amica Dog school and look forward to joining the adolescent classes shortly.

I have not been with Loki for sometime but I am using Andy’s teaching regularly and I have to say they work fantastic he really knows his stuff.For a Dutch shepherd he was young and I was inexperienced but following Andy’s advice and putting in the time and effort that is needed for it to work it’s worth it’s weight in gold.Highly recommend with a great friendly atmosphere.The reason for the belated review is that you don’t realise how well it is working until You look back and go this is exactly what Andy was teaching and it all clicks into place.Loki is a bit older and understands more and I am a little wiser and it works.
