We went in, ordered some chips and went to sit down. Both staff members yelled at us saying it was takeout. Could’ve asked or said nicely. Pure rudeness from both of them. Chips weren’t even worth it, greasy and soggy.

I have been here a few times of a lunchtime out of work and although I ate and enjoyed the chips from there they were very greasy, if I didn't know any better I would say they don't change the oil very often. Each time I have had a Roe too and the batter seems very thin on them and always comes off the Roe in the bag.

Stood at the front of the queue today for 18 minutes not even a single acknowledgement from.staff.When i walked out saying it was too long to wait a old lady was verbal toe saying it was my fault for coming when I did and when it was full..... really? There was 2 tables with people on and that was it. It was not full.I don't have all day to be ignored when I have a set time for my lunch breakAwful experience amd even their customers were rude

They sell vegetarian battered chips (i.e. cooked in separate oil from fish/meat) which are hard to find. Today had a cone and previously had a butty which had a generous amount of chips.

Great fish and chips, always fresh, batter never sticks to the paper, these guys use different paper to wrap the fish, compared to others, so the fish is always intact and looking fresh.They also do plain chips on request.Nice friendly staff, good prices, genuine good portions.

Portion was small, you only get a few chips. Also the chips weren’t fresh, don’t know how long they were sitting out. Won’t be coming here again. Not as good as they used to be.
