I often go to this location which at times can be busy, especially week day lunch times. This is because it has a car park making it very handy to just turn up, sit and enjoy your meal with some nice relaxing views.There are various picnic tables which also seem to get some good use at any time. The area is generally well kept and although a lot of dog walkers use the location, I am pleased to say that it's very rare to find dog mess.All in all, a nice spot to stop awhile and take a break.

Sat with my family and watched a Heron fishing here.It's also possible to watched salmon leaping here at certain times of year. Beautiful!

Interesting location. Nice little park with free parking on the outskirts of Boroughbridge. We canoed from the park down the Ure to where it meets the Swale. We then paddled back up the Ure to Milby lock and up the canal to the twin bridges at Boroughbridge.

Lovely place to stop off. Free parking and 5 min walk into town to shops and toilets. Fish chips are excellent as well.
