Nanaksar Gurdwara Gursikh Temple

Very peaceful place. Well maintained and clean. This is my first visit to any Gurudwara. Very good experience. Friendly atmosphere and polite people.

The Darbaar is exactly the same as I saw it 22 years ago. The Kirtaan is amazing.

Reflect a regressive side of Sikhism, with superstitions and strange rituals. For instance, they would not refill your plate your during langar — indignantly asking you to get *entirely new* dishes and wash your hands.I was happy to see the woman paathi, but don't have much hope till Sikhs remain bidden to old superstitions (or keep churning new ones!)If only our community placed more value on critical thinking and education...

Think the building is a former theatre, so was quite a unique gurdwara with stage curtains and all.The giani was opening and closing them like there was a play going on.Chips and beans were served in the langar hall.

Attended for the Sikh blessing of my youngest great grandson.A very welcoming and pleasant experience.

It's my local place of worship! It's peaceful and no one really bothers you as they let you get on with your thing!With recent expansion, Gurdwara has now many new facilities to help folk like a elevator; disabled wheelchair access!Great place for anyone and everyone.

Peaceful. Clean. No politics. I like this place. It means a lot to me. Recently they have added a car park not to far a walk and that’s brilliant. The staff always seem helpful. Everyone is welcome. I see homeless people come here for a meal and it is a honour to see Sikh principles being upheld. I have been to other temples where some have been turned away. They need a lift though for elderly people and a disabled ramp. The community kitchen is on the top floor. This is no good for someone who cannot walk due to physical health or injury. Please install a lift somehow or some way if you can.

This Gurdwara has had a refurb which had been very well thought out. There are sinks & hand driers based everywhere, including the langar hall!Everywhere was very clean & well kept.I don't go to many Gurdwaras & this visit was sadly for a very dear friends funeral - but if I ever visited Coventry in future, I would visit here again.
