I had a nice conversation with a man called Terry here, hi Terry, nice to meet you! Lovely park, lots of nice pigeons who will sit up in the tree or on the statues until you arrive with food, then they will fly down and eat. Someone has fitted a small bird feeder to a tree there which is good for them to perch on. The pigeons are mostly polite, however some are a bit over eager and will fly up onto you and your food bag, and indeed on top of one another, leading to a few squabbles.

Have just amended the annual festival of Remembrance at the Cenotaph .we'll organised and very well attended. The park is well kept and attractive. One of a number of parks in Southampton all kept to a similar standard.

An interesting park, many different kinds tree, such as monkey puzzle tree, Magnolia tree. The largest kind of tree is very beautiful, but i don't know the name.

Very good lawns and nice place to relax and refresh our mind. Wonderful place for a daily run, jogging, yoga, pet walk, and picnic.

Lovely green space not far from places of interest like Guild Hall, SeaCity museum, public library and the Southampton City Art Gallery. Plenty of benches to rest on, lamp posts to light the way, flower beds to admire and fountains to sit by and watch. Great place to take a breather, chit chat go for a jog and more.
