I don't think the menu has changed since it opened, but it doesn't matter. It's wonderful traditional Portuguese food, brilliantly well done. The portions are huge - much as I'd like to I've never managed both starter and main. Service is like fawlty towers. Utterly chaotic but also incredibly endearing and with such warmth. I love this place for the unpredictability of occurence, but the predictable quality of food, warmth of welcome and wonderful views. I always come out smiling and as a secondary aside, it's ridiculously cheap for what you get.

Three of us had a meal at lunchtime today. The Portugese food was excellent, the view across the Tay was amazing and the bill was very reasonable. The service was a little slow but the food was well worth waiting for. This is a gem of an eating place to be discovered in Fife with an enthusiastic and charming owner.

Revisited today and as before food was absolutely beautiful. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Looking forward to next visit and the continued good value

Taste of Portugal at the Brig O' Tay
Lovely monkfish and king prawn rice. Very delicious and fresh; and the char grilled rump steak was tender and juicy.Took a bit of time for the food to arrive but worth the wait.The restaurant is on the 1st floor and we first thought it was not open as looked like just a bar on the ground floor. Luckily one of the staff noticed us looking at the food menu on window and brought us upstairs.
