I ordered a mid range bouquet as a gift delivered and I was more than satisfied with the product. The prices may seem steeper for some of the entry level bouquets in comparison to some other florists, stores or online however you're getting that extra effort and expertise when it comes to your order and it's arrangement. This goes a long way and your family/friends with a keen eye will definitely be able to tell the difference. They also arrive in a great condition which isn't usually the case with other florists and retailers.Would definitely recommend this local family run business.

Jess and Victoria made and arranged our wedding flowers on 6th August 2021. We came across their work when scrolling through Instagram looking at a range of suppliers who had worked at our wedding venue before. We were absolutely blown away by the images we were seeing and we knew immediately that we wanted Richard's floral design to be a part of our special day.From the moment we contacted Jess and Victoria, their communication was fantastic and they were always quick to respond to any queries we had. They were also excellent at quickly and efficiently transferring our date when we had to postpone our original date due to the pandemic.When we met with Jess and Victoria, we were able to share our visions for the wedding and they were very transparent in letting us know what sort of things were possible within our budget. Every appointment we felt completely at ease because it was so clear that Jess and Victoria knew exactly what they were doing and we had the confidence to just leave them to it and work their magic.Even though I knew our flowers were going to be incredible, we were still absolutely mesmerised and blown away by how beautiful they actually were on the day, We had so many compliments from our guests and the venue was just completely transformed by Jess and Victoria's stunning work.We can't thank you enough for bringing our visions to life.Lots of love, Mr and Mrs Fowles

We used Richards Floral Design for our wedding flowers and décor in November 2019 - and we absolutely loved them!We gave them our ideas and left the rest up to them, we had total faith in them to make our venue look stunning and we certainly weren't disappointed. All the flowers were beautifully arranged, fresh and exactly what we asked for. We also hired glass centre pieces, candles and the gorgeous archway which were all set up for us by Vick and Jess so we didn't have to lift a finger.A special mention for my AMAZING bouquet which I absolutely loved and is one of my favourite things about the whole day! I was actually disappointed to go on honeymoon and leave it behind!Thank you both for making everything so beautiful.Jade & Jack

Sadly our latest visit to Richards floral shop was more than disappointing. We asked for a 25pound bunch of flowers as a thank you gift.Firstly we were surprised at how little 25pound gets you, the bunch recieved was no better than a 5pound store brought bunch. The flowers didn't even come with a card or aftercare, as they usually would. We love to shop local and to support small businesses but we were very upset at the standard, especially as we've had flowers from here on a number of occasions and they have always been lovely. We brought the flowers around 3pm and by 8pm when we returned home the bunch was starting to wilter!We decided although embarrassing to return to the shop the next morning for a refund as we could no longer gift them. We were offered a refund but she couldn't work the machine so asked us to return. Later when my husband returned he was greated by a different lady, she was extremely confrontational and rude as soon as he entered the shop, saying it was out fault we hadn't trimmed them and watered them. However we have never been told to ever trim new flowers and we did have them in a vase of water. She argued that much we missed an appointment we had and when he finally said forget the refund She said no she wouldn't want a bad review. We wouldn't have left any review if customer service was up to standard. The flowers were not good but an acknowledgement and refund was all that would have been needed for good customer service.So disappointing that their standards have dropped so much and that they provide less than no customer service.

My family visited this florist after recommendation from Jennings, the Funeral Parlour. My Auntie and Cousin opted to do our Nans flowers themselves, not to save money, but to be even more involved in the process for our dear Nan. We were treated like absolute idiots by who we assume was the owner of this shop. We were told that people like us are taking business away from florists, which is absolutely ludicrous. We were told we are amateurs! (Of course we are). We ended up using another local florist who were extremely helpful and considerate. We will certainly never return to Richards.I've attached a photo of what my Auntie and Cousin made, not so amateur after all! Thanks to advice from another florist who provided all the flowers we required, the Oasis and even the trays!

The flowers ordered were absolutely amazing. The delivery was efficient and the recipient was delighted. Victoria went above and beyond to ensure that the flowers were special and they certainly brightened up my friends gloomy day. Thanks Victoria

We used Richards Flowers for the arrangements for my dad funeral.The service we received was perfect and the staff were really knowledgeable and empathetic. The displays we ordered were not of standard colours especially as my niece and nephew picked their own colour scheme. But the flowers arrangements were beautiful and perfect as you can see. Would definitely recommend them. Thank you so much

I ordered a thank you bouquet and chocolates to be delivered to a local business as a thank you gift.The staff at Richards went above and beyond to help me, going out of their way to go to their local shops to source the chocolates for me to make sure my order was fulfilled perfectly.I do not have a photo as we are based around 4 hours away so requested delivery, but I do not doubt the bouquet was lovely.Amazing customer service, thank you for all of your help.
