Hello. Please be carefully to take the first right entrance before bm store or second left after BM store. So many people make this mistake. The store is location is in very good place as you can visit other store including Wickes. The car park get a bit busy at time but it has parking. The space for cars are not big but are okay. The entrance is easy access and the store is clean as it can be for a store like this. The staff are friendly and helpful at the store compared to CAll them. Has good selection not things and sometimes you can find a bargain. Certain thing on the website are out of stock or have been cleared but still show up on the website so best to call them and check if it is in stock at the store.Hope this helps

Spoke to a female member of staff over the phone. Completely unhelpful and totally dismissive. She couldn't be bothered to order in some sand that they sell. Instead, she suggested I go to another store. Appalled by the standard of service here. It's not the first bad experience I've had but it shall be the last.

Was going to go B&Q to get what I needed however they didn’t have the right size paving slabs and Wickes was showing a large amount in stock. The staff at the Dewsbury branch on this particular trip were absolutely HORRIBLE. I was told at first to wait behind the cordoned off area whilst some of the staff members where there operating and guiding the fork lift truck, which took ages. I waited patiently and then after they moved the barrier I saw that there were no paving slabs where they should have been. Upon asking another colleague I was told they had them in stock and I should AGAIN wait for the colleagues with the forklift to come back and ask them to get them for me... when those colleagues came back I told the girl that was guiding the forklift that I was told to ask them to bring out the slabs and she replied saying YES we are bringing them out now. After waiting for absolutely ages, both of the colleagues had disappeared and didn’t bother bringing the paving slabs out. Both of them then came back into the store from the back area and saw me waiting at the same exact spot where I had been for the last 40 minutes and carried on walking to tills and the staff room. I then went to the tills and approached the girl that had told me that they were bringing out the slabs and asked how much longer she wanted me to wait, she then asked what for?! At this point she LIED to my face saying that she thought I just wanted to go past the cordoned off area. I had clearly asked her for the paving slabs and she replied back that they are bringing them out, why else would I be stood there and looking at them whilst they are using the forklift?? And even if that was the case I was stood there for soo long, instead of asking me if I needed help with anything you just walk off and start chatting with your colleagues??She then asked what I was after and asked me to... you guessed it WAIT AGAIN for her and her colleague to bring them from the back on the forklift. You could clearly tell she had no interest whatsoever in her job or helping me. After taking the piss putting the slabs out where I could just about reach to pick them up on my toes, they again casually walked away not even bothered to ask if I needed help with them. Not only these 2 colleagues but even the rest of the staff members were not interested! What should have took me under 10 minutes, took me an hour! Horrible shopping experience. And let’s not start about the poor excuses of social distancing and so many staff members without a face covering!!

Asked for stocking situation of certain products and was told exactly where to look. Also bought heavy bag of post mix concrete and young man with reddish hair on till carried it to my car! Excellent service. Good store!

Went to pick up my click and collect items and also purchase some other things from in store. The click and collect was ready for my when I got there. They also have us free offcuts of wood and money of a brocken piece of beading. Friendly staff. All covid safe.

First visit to this store. Did a click and collect. The staff were polite and helpful, greeted me as soon as I walked up. Fast and efficient service. Polite staff. All social distancing during this tough time. Will visit again. Thanks.

Website showed item in stock at Dewsbury branch, approached staff member behind the counter who had dismissive attitude. Clearly requires some training around how to speak with customers!
