Shirley Road Laundrette

ive been using this laundrette off and on for many years. it is always clean, prices i think are ok and the lady that runs it is always polite

No problems with this place. Would give it 5 if they took card. Not busy, open like usual even during lockdown. They have coins for notes so no bother really but these days we're all moving to e-pay.

It smells nice my washing I will go back there it good washing machine and dyer

Wonderful helpful lady. Washing machine did amazing job of my duvet. Service wash very convenient.

Nothing like the picture which when using for the first time was a big disappointment. Honesty would be the best. Would not go back unless desperate.

Seems to be a little self serve launderette, I only used the dryer because it was wet outside, and couldn't dry the cloths on the line.It cost me £3 for 20 minutes drying on HI temp in the dryer for my towels and they came out just right and not too dry and brittle.Could be 5 stars if it was a bigger place with more machines and maybe slightly cheaper, considering its self service.

Very disappointed at the service and result. Had 3 large bags of laundry done on a service wash. All of my clothes literally smell like frying and spices. I didn't realise that the door you knock on for service is an actual domestic premises until I went to collect my clothes, the front of house is very clean dont get me wrong but my clothes were kept in someones home over night and have come out of there smelling like it. More thought should go behind storing customers items. It also states that clothes are to be nicely folded on the priceless board but everything has just been slapped together into quarters with no care whatsoever, I've had to refold a lot of them. The lady who works/lives the is polite enough but due to the overwhelming smell of my clothes I won't be using this place again.

I have used other laundrettes and they cost me a lot less to get my clothes dry. Weather it is the temperature of the dryers or the cost at 50p for 3 mins I am not sure.I spent about £3.00 and all some of my clothes still not dry.At another luandrette normally pay about £1.50 for the same load, and my clothes are dry .
