This small square in Penrith is an oasis of calm. The churchyard boasts a delightful array of mature trees, is sensitivity maintained, and has a palpable sense of community. The church may be typical of many market towns, but the welcome here is warm and feels genuine.

Had a marvelous night watching Penrith Town Band. A warm welcome, great views, good acoustics, great refreshments and raffle provided with assistance from Friends of Penrith MRT. Brilliant night in a brilliant venue.

Went here recently for a concert by a local choir, but have been to numerous musical gatherings.Lovely acoustic and plenty of seating, although press are very hard after anything more than 30 minutes, hence 4*.They allow for refreshments to be sold, including alcohol.

Well kept, very large church in the centre of Penrith. Open during the day. There is a gallery all around which is accessible very wide stairs although the entry doors were locked when we visited. Many interesting features. Not many gravestones and few easily readable.

Really nice church. One of the places worth visiting for the history and the stained glass. One of the locations on the Penrith Heritage trail. Worth picking up a leaflet from tourist information.
