Avoid at all costs. I went in today to buy a vacuum cleaner. They didn’t have the one I wanted, but the sales assistant, Ana was helpful in finding an alternative.She took the payment (part gift card, part cash), then everything, customer service, customer care, the lot, all fell apart. They were able to take the payment from the gift cards and my debit card, then an error came up that said they couldn’t complete the transaction. By now, my gift cards have been redeemed and the cash is out of my bank account. She basically said there was nothing they could do and I should speak with the manager. He was about as useful as a limp noodle. Apart from giving me zero reassurance that my money would be refunded back to my bank account or the gift cards, he even had stupidity to suggest I pay AGAIN (full amount, never mind where’s my gift cards) for the same item.They clearly have no sense or care for customer service, common sense or professionalism. Thats my custom lost.

First time into this shop. Just went to buy a microwave that I found online and unfortunately that wasn't available in store. The very annoying thing was that the staff didn't even greet us, very unwelcoming experience.Update : I have been a few times again to the shop, review down to 1 star from 3. Worst experience. The staff just don't mind you at all.

Couldn't view the TV I wanted to compare. No TV stands in stock. Went home and ordered online. They were only interested in selling add ons in store. Saved myself £220

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. When purchasing the laptop we felt like we were disturbing you and an inconvenience. There was problems with the laptop which you saw and agreed. not the 1st time being treated like this here. I have sent all recordings to head office (with names that I will not post here) of the 2 men dealing with me today. Rude, moody and found it funny when I was getting upset. I will be taking it further and have full 40 mins recording of me stood there while you were nothing but disrespectful.

Absolutely shocking customer service, 3 members of staff walking around yet not one of them greeted us with a hello or a smile. Yes the store was empty we were the only one's in there.I was looking to purchase a fridge freezer there and then, I'll just go else where!!

Don't bother getting there repair plan we have been waiting since Thursday to find out when our cooker is getting fixed and still not heard anything tryed phoning the repair line and they don't know anything

Went there to replace our TV. While staff were helpful in getting tv remotes so we could test responsiveness - a number of online reviews have criticised that for some of the models we were considering - the store loses stars for 2 reasons.The first reason is that they seem to not carry stock for a lot of the models they sell, which is annoying because there is nothing to indicate whether what you’re looking at is actually available to take home. It would save a lot of time and aggro if they were up front about this.The second reason is that when my husband mentioned Curry’s price match promise, the member of staff looked visibly annoyed and turned from helpful to grumpy and offhand. That’s not on. Your own company pushes this to discourage people just visiting and then buying cheaper online.So did we buy our TV from this branch? No, we did not. Will we be returning here if we need to make other purchases of white goods, TVs and similar? Also no. It’s probably as quick for us to go to the Burnley branch where they couldn’t be more helpful.
