I just phoned up to register and got the royal-treatment! Lady on the phone was chatty, friendly, kind and very helpful. I didn't feel rushed either - as I do with some surgeries.

I've been with this surgery now for over a year and so far I'm very happy with both the reception staff and the medical staff.

Trying to give a fair review although very hard when the most important thing is getting an appointment which can be near on impossible!Firstly the goodNever had an issue with anyone at reception always been polite and helpful when speaking with them either by phone (when you are lucky enough to get through) or in person. Maybe some people need to turn down the anger build level up from waiting and stop venting it at them, they might get a better response?Doctors again whether by phone or in person have always been polite and professional and obviously always willing to help. Now For The BadIts a shame that it seems the issue that seems to be getting all the poor reviews reflects and as a butterfly effect on the overall opinion of the whole surgery. That is of cause actually trying to get an appointment. I have found the best way is to be there first thing they open and that way you have more chance of getting an appointment. Unfortunately they need to realise that people have lives and it's one thing getting time of work for the appointment but time off to make it is a bit much. That leads me on to the only other option which is the phone. Only yesterday I spent one and half hour on hold after the early morning busy period waiting for someone to take my call and in the end I gave up! Now I honestly find it hard to believe from the repeated message that I am in a queue with loads of other people also willing to wait more than an hour and half to be answered. My theory is that if there is 20 people waiting most would have given up waiting within the first hour then that means there would only be a few they have to answer during that hour an half. It leaves me to believe that the phone is being switched on answer phone on purpose for some unknow reason. Which I feel is really inconsiderate. I personally would prefer it to just say cant take your call right now, at least that way I am not wasting an hour an half of my day on your obvious pretence of being in a queue.Shame really that the appointment process is your major downfall, with others not willing to give you credit for anything else, due to ridiculous lengths you have to go to just get to speak to someone

Why does the phone keep cutting off when not even rang in for 15 min why does everyone have to ring for 8 for a so called phone call back its obvious everyone going to ring hence why over 80 engaged calls every morning. Do you not realise other people have to get to work not just you . Funny how it was no where near this bad before covid but ane are now packed all the time then you wonder why people are angry with the surgery. Time you shook yourself and realised you go out for meals and family days then you should see then people you are getting paid to see .

I registered st the beginning of the year and have never been seen on the day. They don’t even prioritise children. On the odd occasion they get seen its via one of the pathways. You grt sent miles away when they’re on your doorstep. They messed up my prescriptions a few times and I’ve been left with no vital medication. I’ve been trying for the last 3 days to get my toddler seen. I call at 8am and can’t get through, they don’t even have a queueing system. If you manage to get through. They’ll disconnect the call and you’re e back to square one or they tell you all appointments are gone. They’re not fit for purpose, worst surgery I’ve been at. If i could give no stars, i would.

Absolutely disgusting recorded message on phone about covid vaccine. Useless surgery, never want to deal with anything, lazy, months to get an appointment. You're either dead or cured by the time they answer the phone. If it was possible to give zero stars I would.

The receptionist is the most rude person you would ever meet that’s after she acknowledges you .

Shut half day thursday and friday. Takes a nearly a month for a appointment, unless you can get time to phone at 8am but even then its hard work sometimes and theyre all taken. Seriously understaffed. Also you always get messages to contact the receptionist or doctor when the place is shut! Why stress people out with results by sending messages when its impossible to get back in touch with anyone till the next day or after the weekend

I get offered appointments for the same day , I can pick up my prescriptions the same day and have very positive experiences with both of the doctors and the reception staff that I have interacted with.
