Bathwick Tyres - Team Protyre

I use Protyre to do all my servicing and maintenance work, which is a very good and helpful company.I used Protyre again today 9 June 2023,and again they went above and beyond.My Aux belt came off whilst travelling from Tewksbury to Gloucester at about 1330,,so I went straight to Bathwick Tyres, of the Protyre group.As I am a regular customer, I always use them.They informed me because it was Friday it would be difficult to get parts, so I booked it in for Monday, no issues.Because of my details and knowing that I use my car for business,they arranged to collect the parts and put all their mechanics on my car to fix it,it was fixed by 1700hrs.Outstanding service,it always pays to use the same garage,and on this occasion,I am glad I picked the Protyre group,and Bathwick TyresThank you very much, so now I can carry on running my business.

Took my car to this garage as there was a clattering noise, they informed me it was the release bearing and that I needed a new clutch. Whilst the car was in for repair they informed me that they had to break off the lower suspension arm to complete the job (and yet they charged me for this new Suspension arm) After the job was completed the clattering noise was still there. I also noticed another noise picking it up (that wasnt there before and not related to the clutch). When I informed them about the clattering noise still present, they informed me that it is more likely the gearbox, and they would have to send it off for repair and that I would be expected to cover the costs. However they should’ve spotted this considering they had the gearbox out anyway to fit the clutch and as well as the other new noise I took it back again for them to have a look and all they did is replace the spring on the exhaust and the gasket on the exhaust and the noise is still there. I am now taking it to another garage to got everything sorted. However Manager of this place has resolved and refunded me

Can't fault the staff in any way. However took my car for an MOT which it failed. I was quoted £350 for repair. I shopped around and got it done for £95.Will not return for this reason

I got a gold service to see what was required to get my vehicle through its mot. When I picked it up I was told they'd email me the list. It took 2 phone calls and 2 visits to eventually get it. Booked it in to have those issues fixed. Told I'd get an email by the end of the day with costings. One week later when I dropped the vehicle off I still hadn't had the costings.If you want your vehicle fixed without knowing even a ball park figure or to be contacted before or after the work is done this is the place for you. Even if they offered to do all the repairs for a penny I'd rather push it to a scrappy first.

Told me the car needed £380 worth of work done -Had my MOT done which led them doing some work which two days later the car was making a very bad knocking noise, took the car back and they said after driving it they wanted £380 for some works to be done but because it’s next to where they had done the work previous they said they will knock off labour.Well took the car somewhere else and they said nothing wrong with the car and that they just hadn’t tightened up the bolts of the work they had done ! Yet they had the car and test drove it and came back with a quote. Not impressed.

There are many good garages around the area, this isn't one. So find somewhere better to have work done.To begin with, on the 22nd September, I took my car here to have the turbo replaced. I was quoted for a new turbo".Upon looking at the £1

Not a Good experience, booked a free tyre check and ended up having to go back again to have the tyres pumped up again to the correct pressure.

Drove in with a small tyre problem this morning - was fixed super quickly, and it was such a small job, I wasn't even charged for it. Good way to ensure a new customer goes back?! It certainly works. Always happy to support a smaller business.

I booked a silver service for this a.m i dropped car down yesterday ready for 8.30a.m slot no problem.i paid £160online should have been ready 10.30ish at 12.30 i started ringing and got cut off 3 times. Got dropped down at 2pm and was told it hadnt been done,asking why i was told that he hadnt been in the day before and hadnt been told it needed doing,he asked a collegue who shook his head..the sheet and my key was on the wall,how do they not know? they said they could do it right away but i booked early slot because i needed my car back..im now waiting for refund..so angry and upset theyve had the last of my money and over the years theyve had a lot.

Over the weekend I have to find quickly available slot for Monday for MOT. I've used online booking with ease. On the day turned up 15 mins earlier as per recommendation. 45 mins after my car was ready to go on the road for the whole next year. Pricing is one of the cheapest which is nice too. I would go there again. Thanks
