The Garden Hut, Cilcain

Returning for my second stay at the Garden Hut in Cilcain and it was just as sensational as the first. The attention to detail and beautiful decor is only rivalled by the host’s enthusiasm and the stunning mountainous views of Moel Famau. An undiscovered gem that will remain in my list of favourite places to stay in the UK.

I am blown away by this place and couldn’t recommend anywhere more. This was my second stay, last time was in October and it won’t be the last. Before you even step into the hut the scenery is so stunning - mountains and rolling hills. The garden it’s set in is gorgeous, full of flowers this time of year, and there are idyllic spots to sit (and even a campfire in one area of the gardens for the evening) and enjoy a drink bathing in all the nature around you and taking in those mega views. The hut has an AMAZING aesthetic and design, really high spec. The bed feels like sleeping on a cloud and don’t get me started on the bath - it’s awesome. To sum up: It’s the best stay, the hosts are wonderful and it’s a little slice of heaven on earth. My photos don’t do any of this justice - you must go and can thank me later for how much you love the place!!

The Garden Hut was a stunning venue for a weekend away. The location is beautiful. The attention to detail both inside and out of the shepherd’s hut is incredible. And Leni is a superb host. We will be back!

Lovely cosy hut with lots of nice touches, the garden setting is pretty magical, great views across the hills, and the host was very kind and attentive. We were lucky enough to visit at a weekend that homemade cakes and tea were being served in the garden too.
