I had my first order delivered recently and have had the chance to try the majority of items, first off the best thing about Butcher and Block is the service. Easy to order, speedy delivery and great prices. Second is the quality, great taste and good quality meat. I was hesitant at first as I used to use Musclefood and had some good discounts with them.After having the meat I'm glad I switched, I have put in my order for Christmas and look forward to my future orders. I couldn't recommended butcher and more. If you use Musclefood or any other online retailer give Butcher and Block a go. You'll not be disappointed

Have just placed my fourth or fifth order with Jack. His beef burgers are the best we have ever had. Saying that we can do nothing but praise all the items we had ( seem to working our way through his list, but he has added to it each time we place an order!!). Local, high quality, value for money, efficient delivery, well packaged. Highly, highly recommended

July 2022What a shame. The company is no longer trading.We ordered our Christmas Turkey from this chap this year (2020, say no more).We had a leaflet drop though our door at exactly the right time. We always used to use a local butcher before we moved here and were never disappointed. We decided to try this company: Lockdowns, social distance regulations, Covid and starting up a new business. This chap was taking a huge risk with starting his new venture. The least we could do was to give him a shot.Wow!So pleased we did. The boned and rolled breast crown joint was absolutely superb. Beautifully presented, packaged perfectly, delivered promptly and with added extras, such as pigs in blankets, stuffing and sausage meat (Lincolnshire, obviously) along with chocolates and a Christmas Card.Everything was just right and tasted supreme.We will certainly be using him again.We bought another whole load of various meat joints and sausage mix. Plus, another turkey for 2021. Always excellent quality produce and delivered with care.
