Knew I'd failed my test before it even began, the examiner was rude, self-righteous and ignorant. He even made me rewrite my signature three times before I left as he decided they didn't match (they very much so did).Made me feel extremely uncomfortable the entire journey, ignoring my questions and general conversation, claimed to dual control me when no incident occurred that would require this and he definitely did not dual control me and was even rude towards my driving instructor, overall felt extremely uncomfortable and on edge, I've had a test here before with Craig and he was lovely the best examiner and I failed for a genuine reason but I've never drove better than I did for this test and somehow ended up with one major and five minors which he stumbled on his words to try make up reasons for them all.He sneered at me when I said I was nervous, ignored any of my questions, sighed when I took my time parallel parking as it was a busy road and I was doing a parallel park uphill, made me pull over 7 times and do 2 tell me questions, said if my instructor wasn't in the car within 5 seconds of me completing my test he wouldn't allow him to hear the result, I said I would go grab him and he wouldn't let me but I did so anyway and he then didn't wait until my instructor was in the car to go over my results.I cant decide how I feel about this test centre as my other examiner was super lovely, however, this examiner today who I do not want to name as I can't imagine the embarrassment they must feel is a disgrace to the centre and really lets it down, I have been told to appeal it as it was an extremely unprofessional and incorrect decision based on no grounds. I am aware of my mistakes when I make them but came off of this test feeling like I had passed with 0 minors. Completely utterly disgusting.

My test was cancelled the morning of and with no prior notice. I wasted an hour’s round journey getting there, and still haven’t been sent a rebooking email three days later.

Just had my test here with a guy called Mark.... It was terribly difficult concentrating with the foul oudor of cheese his feet were eminating...not hygienic at all considering how he was harping on about covid. Very distracting... A health hazard and a danger to the road!

Done my test there yesterday with a lovely chap that unfortunately I can’t remember the name. I was still quite nervous, but he really made me feel calmer which helped loads.

Partner booked test date and a block of very expensive lessons based around that date only to have the test cancelled as there is no examiners available (why let her book it then).Next test date gets cancelled due to rain, yes Tain in North Wales how shocking. No more test dates available apparently so go somewhere else is what we’ve been told ! Unbelievably bad service all round, driving examiners are the most work shy people on planet earth.

Be careful! Some of the instructors aren't even aware of the way your test car works. I spent almost £1,000 on a week-long crash course only to be failed because my examiner didn't know the car well enough. Going along the dual carriage-way my examiner asked me to turn on my rear demister, which I did without issue. But she said again 'no, the rear demister'. I began to panic because I had no idea what to press and in the end she failed me for taking my eyes off the road because I panicked and had no idea which button to press (because I had already pressed it!) Once we got back to the test centre she told me I had failed and my driving instructor came over to ask how it had gone, I explained what had happened and my instructor informed my examiner that I had indeed pressed the correct button, but my examiner exclaimed that it didn't matter at this point. So basically I wasted almost a grand just to be failed by an incompetent examiner (I was unable to retake the test at that time because I had to wait two weeks and by that time I would be at University a few hours away). I contacted the testing centre afterwards only to be told that they would be siding with the examiner and I was never contacted again. Enormous waste of money and to this day something that boils my blood. It may have been a mistake on the examiners part (named Jan) but it shouldn't go unnoticed by the testing centre. I'm aware that I should not have panicked but some of these examiners seem to aim to make you feel as stressed and panicked as you can be and if she had known the car correctly there would have been no need to panic in the first place! Now I'm scared to go back and try again elsewhere in case I just waste more money.
