Fantastic independant children's shoe shop in the pretty town of New Alresford. The lady who owns it is wonderful. Knowledgable and friendly and able to put children at ease, as are her team of staff. We go there for my all of my son's shoes since he was little as he has rather wide feet and other high-street shops haven't been able to fit him with good quality comfortable shoes. Billy Goat however are able to offer a choice and he loves visiting to get his shoes, sandals and trainers.Now in fantastic new premises in West Street (still in Alresford) a much lighter, bigger shop, with even more fantastic footwear for all of your child's shoe needs!

Always buy shoes here, really good personal experience. They are lovely with kiddies and will do fit checks also. Shop has a good range of shoes for everyone. Also kids bags, crocs etc.

We have been coming here to get both our children's shoes for a number of years and won't consider anywhere else for school shoes. Great service with knowledgeable and friendly staff with an amazing selection of great quality shoes. The best part is that you can come and get your child's feet measured with their current shoes to make sure they still fit. Highly recommended Billy Goat.

I came here on Saturday and was greeted by the most delightful young lady with glasses. She engaged immediately with my son and made him feel really special.My niece and nephew then came in for a fitting and again she was just brilliant at handling two different personalities. I was particularly impressed with how she engaged with my nephew who was struggling to communicate that day and she instinctively talked to him about castles (he was reading a book about Knights) and put him at ease.It is rare to find a childrens shoe shop with well trained and lovely team members. I will be back!

Amazing service at Billy Goat. If I could give them six stars I would. Just lovely, calm, kindly assistance getting my 8yo new school and 'fun' shoes prior to the new term. Nothing was too much bother, and we ended up with two great pairs of gorgeous shoes. This was some of the best customer service that I have ever seen or experienced anywhere.

Amazing service and selection of kids shoes. Well set up for Covid measures and recommend booking an appointment as we did, due to size of store. We had a lot of problems at other shoe shops but no such worries here. Such a relief to have shoes that fit regardless of the size of feet or shoes people think he needs. One very happy son and mum. Really lovely shoes and truly exceptional service - a minor issue with my son's shoes was dealt with straight away and staff could not have been more helpful.I trust that my son's feet are in good hands when we go to have him fitted!
