This place is full of amazingness!!! Just wow. It belongs to the National Trust so they maintain it and make it look so beautiful. I do not normally like to pay for taking the doggies out for a walk but we found this place by accident and it looked wonderful so thought ok I'll pay the £2 parking for couple of hours. I wish I payed for the day now as the park goes on forever and it is just one stunning view after the other. All the proceedings form the car park do go to the National Trust so all good. At the end of the day when we turn all land into a concrete jungle it'll be the only green left. Please be mindful that you will have to keep your doggies on a lead as there are lots of livestock around, birds and some nutso swans. All the pathways are clearly signposted and there is a bit for everyone, from the gentle stroller to the propeller boots walker. We will definitely be visiting again.

Hardwick Park ( Ponds )
A nice quiet spot, with some nice walks, you can walk up to the house from here, it's a national trust car park so members are free, otherwise it's pay and display, there's a small visitor information centre with toilets. They had a lot of rain at the time of our visit and closed it the next day.(10/2023).

Lovely visit today. Was quite busy but managed to get parked. Had an ice cream and then coffee later. Some great walks and nice to be out in the fresh air.

We parked at the ponds and walked all the way to the house and back.It was a lovely park and it was clean and well looked after. There was so much wildlife to see.A great alternative to parking up at the house.
