Wanted a quick pint and bite to eat, came here and the barmaid Grace was friendly and recommended the Burgers. Glad she did, Burger was fantastic none of that usual overcooked pub stuff. I even had to ask the Chefs name (Dev I think) to send them my thanks for a great lunch!

The wing challange killed me off. They werethe hottest wings I've ever experienced in my life and I honestly wouldn't try these again. Unless you want to start hallucinating. Also Josey is a legend.

1st time since the revolution. Stars in their eyes, or on the floor. Redo of decor, great selection of pints. Toon prices. I liked it. But it was a Tuesday.

New star on the scene....waht can I say....I'm impressed.......Great choice of beers, wine and spirits. Bar staff very friendly and the place is done in all local sayings and prints.On the floor is geordie stars of local heros....Sam fender, Jimmy nail and Alan Hull.This bar is what Newcastle needs, focusing on the city and its heroes.Will definitely be back and I would encourage you to try it. Beer tastes fresh, wine well chilled. Didn't have any food but they do serve food.

Called in The Geordie Star on Westgate Road. In my opinion it was like a kindergarten. We sat down with our drinks, then suddenly this kid knocked the table and a full pint of John Smiths spilt over - it went all over me plus the floor. There was no one came to clean the floor - it was disgusting. In my opinion you should employ a different manager. Bring back the original Star, the manageress and all the staff were perfect. Disgusting!!!!!
