Rouken Glen Garden Centre

Just had a visit in and the shop is looking wonderful, the plants are brilliant quality and not one looking like it needs to be watered, spoke to Margaret and Lorna at the tills very friendly and was a great conversation, will visit again!

Lovely Garden centre. Has a cafe inside (I did not eat there however there was GF options on the menu)

Nothing good about this place except the outdoor seating area. Breakfast roll was 3 thin slices of warm turkey ham on a cheap white roll which cost £3.95! Eggs Benedict consisted of 2 overcooked poached eggs, smothered in mayonnaise (certainly not hollandaise) and served on white toast, not sourdough as described. Just to really add to our experience, the staff kept everyone waiting while discussing the difference between 2 cakes which had been delivered, they were slow to serve, not paying any attention to their customers. The woman in front of me rolled her eyes in dismay. There was one cheery woman member of staff, but she was not serving, the others need to be trained in how to treat customers well and respectfully. Finally, get a chef who can cook!

We love the Christmas displays at the lovely garden centre plus we like visiting the cafe too.

Love this place. Been here several times and ive always managed to get what I'm looking for. Got 3 lots of flowers that have 8 in each pack for £11. That's a bargain. They have some gorgeous accessories for the garden tables and etc. If you are looking for a good variety of plants then this is the best place. Plants are well looked after and I never seen any dead flowers and they were watered. I highly recommended this place. They have the best plants locally. I will be back next year. Xx

Been here a few times, the atmosphere is relaxed and the food is excellent. Last time i was in, i had lasagna, this was cooked to perfection and gorgeous, and my friend had a vegetarian breakfast. She felt the meal was really nice, with the standout being the vegetarian black pudding that was beautiful.

Given a recommendation to visit the cafe at Rouken Glen. Was very disappointed. Staff very sullen not helpful at all more interested in chatting to one another than helping their customers. Rolls were not fresh sausage overcooked not good for £12.00. Not for us..sorry.

Every single plant we have bought from here has lasted and blossomed. Definitely my preferred garden centre. Staff very friendly.

This is a lovely place to visit. Very suitable for disabled and wheelchair users. Lovely restaurant /cafe with big selection of hot foods and tray bakes etc. Also large choice of teas

A pleasant Garden centre with a large choice of Plants, gifts and other gardening accessories. Prices are good.Garden centre also has allotments available next to it, just need to enquire in shop.
