My daughters son was buried at St Andrews Church on the 3rd June 1998 after contracting and dying from meningecocal. At the time my daughter bought the plot and had it made for 3 to be buried in it to include her and her husband at the time. I have a certificate signed by the vicar to verify that the plot belonged to her. My daughter died on April 1st 2021 and being in possession of the said certificate I had my undertaker email a copy to the Reverend Rachael Battershell. We were told by her that the document was illegal it was then that our problems began as she put every obstacle in our way trying to stop my daughter being buried with her son. Eventually after a few more arguments my daughter was buried there. We were going through a very sad time and this vicar caused us more heartaches than you could imagine. I always understood that they were there to give support and comfort in bereavement but there was none of that from her. It is with much regret that I write this post but I feel that she is in the wrong job as she has no compassion whatsoever

Went to this beautiful little church for a christening. Great building, warm and welcoming. Great Vicar who was funny, warm and welcoming. We had a good time.
