Ordered over the phone at 6pm...had to call back (twice) chasing up. Finally gave up at 8pm. No apology, just poor excuses. Would never use these guys again. Can't comment on the food as never got to try it !!! Left them one star as it would not let me comment otherwise.Update. The owner of the takeaway has turned up in person and resolved this issue. Delivered the food with no charge even though I said it was ok. Fair play, good customer service. Because of the way this was dealt with I would have no worries about using these guys again. Thank you.

I'm very surprised by the negative reviews- i reckon it must have changed ownership since. I've found New Hey Chinese to be far the best Chinese locally and a large variety of dishes to be well made and delicious.

Disgusting. Just awful, salt and pepper ribs, which was just chewy fat covered in batter. Chicken & Green Pepper in BB sauce, was mainly raw onion, and the chicken tasted awful, crispy fried beef, far to spicy to taste anything else, and the beef seemed to be strips of chewy crispy batter, again tons of raw onion. Char Sui, totaly inedible, couldnt chew the pork, must have been months old stored in the freezer, again, tons of raw onion. But by far the worst was the vermicelli, smelt and tasted like dirty dishwater, utterly disgusting. The only thing in the whole meal which was edible was the deep fried cabbage/seaweed. Utterly revolting, only gave it 1 star because they did manage to deliver it.

New Hey Chippy offers fast service, decent food and reasonable prices. They deliver for orders over £8 with a £1 delivery charge within a 3 mile radius.I've used them for a while and the food is great. The fried noodles are particularly good and the curry sauce.

Got the leaflet through today so gave it a try. Quantity and quality really good. Compared to takeaways in garstang where I spend a lot of time it's a really good value takeaway
