Just took delivery of my rooster for Christmas lunch 2021. Oh boy it looks lovely. Packaging was superb and the bird is nice and cold having had a 'sheet' of ice across it that has stayed well frozen in transit all the way to Wiltshire. Insulation around the Rooster is superb as was packaging. Can't wait to try it now. Oh, and lovely cooking instructions inside to help if one need them.

We'd had their chickens before, so thought a Boned & Rolled Turkey Breast Joint would be good - it was excellent! The online ordering was fine and they emailed appropriately. On Christmas Eve collection was well run, with good signage*, parking, plenty of space and air in the building. It was not cheap, but the flavour justified it.*if you don't see their signs you're at the wrong farm...The only criticism is their own review system: it does not accept my review, whether I use Chrome, Firefox, or Edge (?cookies), and flags 'flavour' as un-American English.

Oh my goodness - I fill up my freezer every now and again - these chicken are larger than life" - I made your chicken noodle soup last night - very good - I cannot speak highly enough of the quality of your chickens - the only comment I would make would be to say would it be possible to have a smaller Christmas rooster as there are only two of us !"

This chicken is soooo delicious, fat breasts, juicy when roasted and yummy gravy.So good i ordered the ‘chicken box ‘ for £92 and it will last us for ages. I won’t buy chicken anywhere else from now on.

We regularly order free range chicken from Herb Fed Poultry. The quality is vastly superior to anything you get in the supermarket and the chickens are larger and tastier. The packaging is excellent and all chickens arrive chilled and very fresh. For the best deal buy in bulk then freeze individually when it arrives.

Bought a Herb Fed chicken at Fenwicks, Newcastle, on 20th December, clearly marked use by 26.12. 17. The chicken was removed from the fridge on Christmas day for cooking but was very foul smelling and slimey and could not be used. I E Mailed Herb Fed that day and now on 3.1.18 still had no response. I have now taken the matter up with Fenwicks directly yesterday. No response so called Fenwicks again today. To ignore complaints in such a dangerous matter is irresponsible.

Delicious Turkey and the best I’ve had. Previously bought Copas and Kelly turkeys and both excellent but in my view herb fed beat them on taste and price.Their chickens are great too.
