Absolutely fabulous!!! Such delicious ice cream and such friendly staff, and take interest in their customers. So polite and just an amazing place to go to in the summer!!!

Friendly helpful staff who are very welcoming.They have a wide range of food and drink available at very reasonable prices.They also have an honesty store (unmanned and trusted that you leave the money for what you take). You can leave either cash and take the correct change you're due, or pay by card by entering your products onto a tablet.The coffee is gorgeous and the ice cream is homemade & worth every penny.There are plenty of toys and equipment for little ones to play with.Covered seating is available for if the weather isn't great and there's plenty of benches for everyone so you're not likely to struggle for seating.Free maps can be found in the honesty store with routes for walking and hiking which we found very helpful.The only downside we found was the toilet is just a porta potty. I don't blame them for having permanent toilets but we did find using the boot of our car to change our toddlers nappy.Would definitely give this place a visit. The food & drink are exceptional for the price, the staff are lovely & there's plenty to keep little ones busy, let alone the gorgeous view from where you sit.

We were booked by Daltons to provide food at the Dog Show day. It turned out to be a fantastic event and we were sweltering in the food truck so of course we had to try as much of the ice cream and milkshake as we possibly could to cool us down! Take it from us, it’s all delicious and that’s an understatement. There were so many outstanding flavours and it’s all made right there on the farm using milk from their own herd of cows, which you can see roaming and eating the grass on the beautiful hills in front of The Hatch and shop.We’re about 45 minutes away but even so, we will definitely go back again on a day off. It’s worth the drive and we need to try all the cakes now too!Thanks for having us Daltons and thank you for your excellent hospitality. See you soon.

What a fabulous place right on my doorstep!I regularly like to take the children I babysit here - it’s a great place with lots of toys to play with for the kids. And they do a lovely cup of tea! The ice cream is just fab and the staff are absolutely lovely! I can’t believe such a small place has such high standards with all of their products- the attention to detail was really noticeable.I highly recommend it to anyone with or without children.Also a big thank you to the staff who helped me when one of the children fell over and cut his lip- thank you!

Today was my first time visiting Dalton’s Dairy and it did not disappoint. Lovely countryside farm with a little coffee hut along with a shop which sells freshly made food and produce. I had a caramel latte and a Nutella cookie dough cake all on offer for £4. Later I had a ‘Spinner’ ice cream which is a homemade vanilla ice cream swirled with fruit. All the milk and ice cream is made fresh on site which makes it extra special! So nice to sit on a bench outside and look out to stunning countryside views. Will definitely be going back when the weather gets nicer!

Great place to bring children for an ice cream, large play area, picnic benches and covered areas to sit. Ice cream is very nice and made on the farm. You can even see the cows that produce the milk. Prices are not extortionate.

Amazing ice-cream served by a friendly hard working team from a small hut called the hatch. A family farm making dairy products. There is also a honesty shop.
