TOUNSI - Tunisian Street Food
Dropped in for a late night supper, chose the Chicken salad plate (£5) and a small glass of homemade lemonade (£2) and both were delicious.Tasty chunks of chicken and 3 different prepared salads.It’s a new local eatery, so still quiet (we were the only diners) but it wasn’t awkward and I expect it to get popular once people find out about the place.I loved it and will be back.

A charming place run by super friendly owners whose lovely energy translates into the delicious Tunisian food they cook for you.I’m so drawn to these places, the gems of the local neighbourhood, where you can hang with a snack and coffee and chat (to the owners, or to fellow diners!) and just graze on their menu.Just awesome.

Came for lunch the day after opening, and had the best time! Food was amazing and very well priced, and the staff were super friendly and nice. We came back again the next day! Would definitely recommend.

I recently celebrated my birthday at this fantastic Tunisian restaurant and it was an unforgettable experience! The service was excellent, with attentive and friendly staff who made the evening truly special. The food was not only delicious but also beautifully presented. My birthday party was a huge success, the ambiance and the efforts of their staff. I couldn't have asked for a better celebration. Highly recommended!"

Me and my partner have been meaning to come here as we have seen it has recently opened and wow can I just say how incredible our experience was,From the moment you walk in you're immersed into what feels like a local Tunisian tavern with traditional decor and music.The service was super, with extremely friendly owners, they can't do enough to accommodate you.The food was incredible. Everything is made fresh to order and is an absolute explosion of flavours. very reasonably priced too.Safe to say we have found a new favourite spot!P.sDefinitely try the kafteji, lamb sausage! And ask for a side of home made chilli sauce if you like spice.Also the homemade lemonade is to die for! Super refreshing. We will be back!

I have made two visits to this lovely local Cafe for lunch on my own, and then dinner with my husband. The food is freshly cooked with lovely herbs, spices and flavours. The hosts are friendly and helped us make our choices as not familiar with this cuisine. The whole meal was amazing value, and I doubt could be beaten down Charminster Road. I will keep returning and look forward to sampling some more Tunisian delights. So good to have this little gem in Charminster.

What a little slice of heaven in Bournemouth. A family run restaurant with the most authentic Tunisian food.Our hosts cooked all the food fresh for us and they couldn’t have been nicer. It’s a 10/10 from us
