We hired Chris to take photos of our special day in August 2022 at a countryside venue in Derbyshire. Right from the word go Chris provided excellent communication and was always happy to offer useful suggestions to help us plan our day. We decided to have the package including two photographers for the day which meant we have amazing professional photographs of both wedding parties getting ready in the morning before the wedding.We had a number of meeting with Chris during the planning process where he talked us through how the day would run, he was happy to accommodate all specific photo requests as well as coming up with some of his own creative ideas on the day. We made special requests to disappear from the wedding reception during sunset to get some golden hour photographs which we definitely recommend! Chris is very good at making people feel comfortable in front of the camera which results in amazing and natural looking photos and he was really helpful on the day with timekeeping and making sure we were all where we needed to be at the right time.We received our wedding photos sooner than expected shortly after our Honeymoon, one thing that we really liked about the online photo gallery is that all of the photographs from both photographers were time stamped, so all of the gallery appeared in chronological order; we could see what each party was doing at the time. Looking through our gallery was like reliving the day all over again! The photos are easy to download and store on an external hard drive and we are hoping to have an album made with Chris in future.If you choose to go with Chris as your wedding photographer you can relax in the knowledge that on your wedding day all of the photography will be taken care of and you can just relax and enjoy your day!THANK YOU SO MUCH CHRIS AND LUKE

We’d really umm’d and aaah’d about whether to have a professional photographer and had actually gone to the ‘Wedding Fair’ looking for ideas for favours, but came away with a business card for “Christopher Bunce Photography”, what a superb meeting that turned out to be...!We saw Chris on his stand & instantly noticed his unique talent for reportage style photography & capturing ‘moments’. He has a fantastic eye for composition, and along with his modern post-production style and skills, we knew these were exactly what we wanted for our day. For us, it’s not the formal photos that remind you how great your day was – it’s the natural events, fun and excitement & little things that are so important to be documented.A few days later we visited Chris at his studio & over a cup of coffee, very quickly realised that his friendly, approachable personality along with his enthusiasm, knowledge and clear passion for photography and ability to constantly think in a creative manner whilst always considering the clients wishes made him shine out amongst the crowd, and we had every faith that he would be perfect for our day, so our decision to go ahead & appoint was an easy one.Chris was an absolute pleasure to work with, he took the time to get to know us, listened to our likes and dislikes prior to the Reception, so that on the day he made us feel special, and we had loads of fun, he made us feel relaxed and comfortable in front of the camera and was discreet whilst also being authoritative when he needed to be. Chris’s ability not to miss a moment is incredible, and his energy and passion comes across in the photos, we loved his calm nature and ability to blended amongst the guests effortlessly, so well in fact that they hardly realised they were being photographed.We cannot endorse Chris enough, we were absolutely blown away with the service from start to finish & the results speak for themselves. We love scrolling through the beautiful images. From the day we booked Chris, through the preparations for our wedding to the big day, he has been absolutely brilliant to work with.On the day, Chris and Ania were incredible, working in tandem to ensure they captured as much of our day as possible. Chris was amazing when he took our wedding photos. He made everyone feel so comfortable and at ease. It felt like he was part of the family and one of the guests. We had the most amazing experience with Chris as our wedding photographer. He was very responsive from our initial email onwards and it only took a chat over zoom to know he'd be a great fit for our day. He was so warm and friendly that we were immediately put at ease. On the day itself Chris was so helpful in helping things run smoothly and was an invaluable source of wedding know-how. Thanks to his gentle reminders we are able to stick to all the timings planned on the day and get photos of everything we wanted. I cannot overstate how helpful this was on an already manic day! Chris even spotted a rainbow at the end of the night while we were on the dance floor and got us outside for a picture which was amazing. We are so happy with the photos and our whole experience. Chris was the best unexpected addition to our wedding day. He came prepared with the skills and tools to do all the extra details that we didn’t even know we needed. He knows how to tie a perfect full windsor, how to make kids and adults laugh at the perfect moments and how to make everyone feel at ease. We’d have him at our wedding again even without a camera.
