Good standard of service. Staff informed us when we were in the queue about them being shorthanded, so we can make informed choice whether we want to continue to queue or not.The cafe itself is very spacious. So, we can comfortable sit and wait for our order.

Awful place. Awful staff. I am honestly so shocked today. Walked in after a lovely day of shopping. There was tables free only for only two people. I was with my elderly mum who’s 65 and my younger sister. There were couples on tables of 4 and tables of 3. We were refused sitting as there was no more tables of more than two. A chair could of easily been moved to the end of one table. The table both sides of the table we would be using would of been closed off anyway due to social distancing. So I don’t see why ONE of the non occupied seats couldn’t be moved as it is 6 to a table (social distancing rules). I have no problem with this. However, the waitress came over and was absolutely rude and kicked us out as I could not and was not aloud to stand or move one chair. I will never go here again. It really ruined our day to be spoken to like that. Fair enough if we were rude but we were not she just come over with attitude and made it very clear we had to leave as there were NO tables for us but there were plenty of tables of two free. I think your staff need better customer service skills on how to talk to people. There wasn’t any need for the way she spoke to us or was there any need to be kicked out. The easy solution could of been just move one chair that no one would be using because half the tables are non occupied. Ironic really when NONE OF THE STAFF WERE SOCIAL DISTANCING. But we were all from the same household.

Great coffee and great staff. Not so happy about cleanliness. Flies all over the place, even on the food on display. This puts me off visiting this costa. I stopped going in until recently refurbished. Went in to see the newly done decor but sadly the flies issue wasnt resolved. Not as bad as before but enough to put me off.

Usually we have a good experience in this branch but on the last visit we were disappointed of the service, the person who served us couldn’t make the coffees as they should and after we asked them to make it right they have said no “take it or leave it “ the lady said. A busy Costas in the middle of St David’s, a great place to put your foot up to rest the feet while shopping. Service is great and plenty of seats inside and out.

Always dirty , no staff cleaning or clear tables , just have the money and no other services bad management always, and always no cake after 12.00 noon

I ordered a medium cappuccino, but what I got was a Luke warm cup of hot milk with no coffee taste whatsoever, it was pure white, no heart & soul was put into this drink, the staff were too busy talking amongst themselves, they had no excuse as the cafe was quiet, I never even got a smile, just abruptness!The cafe itself is very nice, even the tables were clean, but I will never return here again as i did want a cake also, but when the staff finally stopped talking, i lost interest, I wish now I'd of tried one of the other Costa's as I passed at least two on my way to this one.As I am writing this review, my cup was snatched off the table, when I hadn't even finished, talk about rudeness of these staff!
