We went for two reasons shopping and a drink. They succeeded in both. We purchased exactly what we wanted, and then moved to drinks. They have two separate areas one a standard cafe table and chairs the other with coffee tables and comfortable arm chairs. I had a sandwich chicken and bacon. I was surprised with the quality, thick slices of chicken and while rashers of bacon with a ramekin of coleslaw and crisps. We have since returned.

Sorry this has taken so long.. meant to do it ages ago - but we are still nowhere near having the place decorated and done !Went to visit John Doe just before completing on our new home. As we were lucky enough not to be moving in the same day, they managed to book us in for fitting carpets to the stairs and upstairs bedrooms.Everything was slick, well planned and carried out to the letter. Steve (I think) who did the measuring was a pleasure to watch. His scale drawings without even a ruler and stupidly quick was amazing to watch.Tiny, minor troubleshooting after fitting and they were rapidly back within 24 hours to resolve.Highly recommend the whole team. Thank you.

Visited this store for first time today. In every department the staff were excellent. The store was immaculate and was a credit to management and staff. We also had lunch in Angela's cafe ...again first class service and food was lovely. We purchased some bedroom furniture and Stuart went the extra mile in making sure we were happy. Will certainly be visiting again. Well done everyone.

Visited this shop for the first time following phone call enquiring about purchase of adjustable bed for medical purposes. Accompanied by very kind and courteous member of staff to first floor. Stewart, Store Manger introduced himself and asked about my requirements, didn't bombard me with questions or try and sell me most expensive bed. Slight problem with headboard which turned to be more expensive but he kindly agreed to meet me half way. X

This furniture shop is very expensive, there is an extensive range of most things but they are top of the money range I was looking for a relaxing swivel recliner chair and stool but the prices were so high that I soon gave up . They do have a reasonably priced café on site that served a decent range of well cooked food and cakes and loads of free parking but the spoiler for me was the price of the furniture

Fantastic shop everything you can think of under one roof, staff are very friendly and helpful and nothing seems to be to much trouble, spent 2 hour's trying out rise and lift chairs for my mother inlaw the lady who helped us was fantastic

Bought a sofa and armchair with the help of the manager. Very helpful and reassuring. We then went down and bought a carpet and underlay to be fitted. The lady who served us was helpful and gave us time to decide which one. Then she managed to get the carpet fitted and sofa delivered within the week! Really impressed. Thank you
