Howard's (Tarleton) Master Chimney Sweeps

Steven Howard is a master sweep. He is by far the best sweep I have ever used. He is very professional, quick, clean and knowledgeable. He keeps up to date with equipment and techniques. He is also very friendly and will freely give quality advice when asked. Steven provides a high quality stove sweeping service that I would recommend to anybody.

Steven provided an excellent service when he came to clean our chimneys. He turned up on time, cleaned up brilliantly before he left, and was incredibly friendly and helpful, taking time to explain to us how to get the best out of our stove. Would definitely recommend!

A wonderful first class service. I can't recommend Steven highly enough. We had four Chimney caps installed today. I phoned in the morning and Steven came out and fitted them a couple of hours later. Can't speak highly enough of this firm. Steven came to do the annual sweep of our chimney today during lockdown. His COVID procedures were just perfect - used a mask, asked us to stay away from his entry and exit route, arranged safe method for payment, sanitised everything he touched before leaving and then advised us to ventilate the room for ten minutes when he left. It doesn't get better than that. Stephen is honest and ethical. He even suggested that we could leave the sweep for two years (not one) because the build up inside the chimney wasn't too bad. We're really glad to have found him (he was recommended to us). Just read the website too - lot's of useful information. Very professional indeed.

We booked three appointments at three different addresses one after the other. Mr Howard was prompt, very pleasant and efficient and left all surest clean and tidy. Highly recommended by all.

We contacted Steven after moving into the area to find our chimney was blocked. He turned up on time, was extremely professional, honest and courteous. He was immaculately clean along with his van and our living room after he left. Genuine nice guy and could not recommend him enough.
