A truly appalling service, over the 5 months we had dealing with them not once did they return a call from messages left, we then learnt that not even messages passed from us to colleagues were returned so in the end had to adopt the the time consuming inconvenience of keep ringing until we got through, even when we did and they told us they'd have to get back with an answer to a question, they didn't. They sent us electronic correspondence with an old address in Morpeth that they no longer occupy, they also sent electronic correspondence with our address incorrect. They failed to send emails even tho they had said they had, on one occasion they told me an important email that needed to be sent to land registry must of got lost in the atmosphere"

After having to move solicitors due to lender requirements, the team at savage moved quickly in sorting out all elements to completion. The team work hard and thoroughly so I appreciate all of your help and guidance along the way! I would use these again - in face I already am!

Absolutely delighted with my experience using Savage Silk. Myself and my partner were trying to buy our first property together and had 2 fall through due to reasons with the sellers, but finally managed to get the third one over the line. We used Savage Silk for all 3 properties and were supported throughout each and every one. With the successful purchase I was put in touch with Gillian at the Stockton on Tees office, who was dealing with our file. Gillian provided a superb service, was extremely responsive and provided advice all throughout the purchase. Charlotte who dealt with the completion was also very attentive and was always up to date with the arrangements of our file if I needed to speak to her during Gillian’s time out of the office.

Can’t thank enough and everyone in savage silk Newcastle. Firstly would like to thank Michael who initially started the process. Explained me in detail all the queries I had. Then everyone in leven and completion team. Always updated me the ongoing stage and what to do next. Everything went smooth and quick. Worst company ever! If I could leave minus stars I would.They failed to offer any sort of advice during my auction sale, they lied throughout the process and withheld information from me.Even the sellers solicitors called them liars because of the information they constantly withheld and lied about. It was extremely embarrassing.I was the one constantly having to chase things up, get advice from other lawyers on what to do and then relay it back to savage silk.They did not act in my interest.When it became clear the sale was going to fall through they failed yet again to offer advice/ options I had moving forward.They then asked me to pay an additional £300 towards getting a litigators opinion.I complained about the level of service I had received & they immediately decided to drop me as a client 3 days before my completion date.Just a horrible horrible set of individuals who lack any sort of accountability and ability to actually help their clients.Complete waste of time and money.

One star is generous!!! We are a 72 year old couple selling an empty flat to a single gentleman with nothing to sell!! We thought maybe 6 weeks/ 6 months later still nothing! We are are still waiting for them to return numerous calls that we have made to them - we are at our wits ends

Would definitely recommend savage silk very efficient and extremely helpful in every aspect would definitely have no hesitation to use them again in future great company

I highly recommend this company. Ruth Beeton and Joanne Wright were exceptional throughout….. they’ve got their finger in the pulse and get the job done! Good communication throughout, pleasant and thorough!Expensive though? No - far from it! A very exceptional service at a very average price - I highly recommend that you go with these guys - you won’t be disappointed!
