NEVER buy from Sofology, once you place the order the branch don't help at all with anything. Our sofa is now 10 weeks late and they've lost it. They have no idea where it is and just use the same excuse every day of 72 hours for the supplier to make contact and answer an emails sent. The sofa is manufactured in the UK, make a simple phone call to find out where it is They want to charge a 40% cancellation fee. Cant speak to any managers only the customer service team that have 0 answers. Avoid Sofology at all costs, worst experience purchasing anything in my life, joke of a company.

If I could rate lower than one star I would.On going back and forth issue with Sofology since the moment our sofa arrived, took 2 months of back and forth for them to even attempt to rectify the issue of their faulty product they had sent, after initially stating that there was nothing they could do.Replacement inserts still hasn’t rectified the problem though as you will see from photos.Fabric on the sofa is just extremely saggy and not what you would expect after spending thousands of pounds.Technician came out and simply said I need to plump it everyday…. have been and it still looks like something I’ve picked up from second hand shop for £5.Bare in mind before buying anything from Sofology that the pictured sofa below is only 5 months old and had replacement inserts sent out 3-4 weeks ago.

After only owning a 2 Canterbury sofas for 7 months it’s bobbled, frayed and looks years old. It’s been looked after and not misused. Customer services responded saying “it has been concluded this is the natural wearing of the fabric used to manufacture this particular range.” Not once we’re we told that the quality was this poor the sofas would barely last past 6 months!

The showroom is just fabulous, and the range of suites is amazing. The assistant Lynne was was very helpful and extremely knowledgeable. The service was attentive, rather than pressure focused. We did spend around 2 hours there. In the end we picked a sofa that was entirely different to the one we came in to look at. To be honest it was a enjoyable experience, and we came away happy and confident in the company. The reason we gave only 3 stars was the 1,500 one star reviews on Google. These reviews really panicked us, and we considered cancelling the order. But guess what, you can’t, unless that is you want to incur excessive cancellation charges of up to 40%. Well nobody is going to take that kind of hit. All the complaints seemed to be about delivery times not met, and damaged sofa’s. I know you can refuse damaged goods under the sale of goods act, but it’s all added stress and angst. After paying £4,000 you expect a good and competent after sales service. I’m keeping my powder dry and waiting to see how it goes with us. The star rating could go either way, I just hope it’s the right direction.

I have spent 10k in 18 months with this company. Lovely showrooms and sales staff who promise the earth, even the sofas are good - but the customer service is the worst I have ever experienced anywhere in the world. Order delayed and delayed and delayed. Finally turns up with love seat, care kit and glides missing. Told I'd be contacted in 24 hours, nothing in 3 days. Waited an hour on phone only for miserable lady to cut me off. 3 contact forms sent, no response. Ignore the good reviews on here, they invite you to review when you have ordered. Delivery and customer service is an absolute joke. Staff are disenchanted, theyve turned off reviews and comments on Facebook and Instagram. Absolute shambles of a company and deserve to go out of business.

Would give 0 stars.Their aftersales service is appalling. Damaged marked on delivery report and no phone call to see how the delivery went or discuss anything noted. They then expect you to call them and arrange the solution. Total rubbish service and wish I had taken my business elsewhere.Had purchased a previous sofa from sociology so decided to purchase from them again. Initial sales process was very good, staff and service was very informative, friendly and helpful. Unfortunately after we had placed the order it all went down hill from there.Had initially requested a May delivery, but as it arrived a month early I received daily email, texts and phone calls from them saying I need to take the delivery otherwise they would cancel our order and charge us cancellation fees. I explained that it wasn’t my problem that the sofa had arrived early and I wasn’t ready for it to be delivered, as we were decorating and it was not convenient, hence the May deliveryThey eventually agreed to contact me at the end of April to arrange. I asked not to be contacted before the selected date as they were harassing me. Unfortunately calls, texts and emails continued but at a lesser rate.I paid for the collection of my old sofa, which I also purchased from sofology. Friendly guys and did inform me of a few issues with my old sofa. They showed me that when it was delivered it was not set up correctly and that had caused the excessive wear. It was the 3rd of those sofas they had collected in as many weeks with the same issues being present. 1 of which was only 2 months old at time of collection. Makes you wonder what they are supplyingI had my sofa delivered and the delivery agents were very friendly and in fairness the sofa is really nice and comfy. Unfortunately it arrived with some marks on it, which were noted on the delivery report. Nearly a week on and still no follow up call to se how everything is and to discuss the damage.Feel that I have overpaid for a sub standard service. Really disappointed with the level of service after initial sale. Will make me think twice when it comes to purchasing another one from then

Customer services in store very good. Problems with leather peeling and damaged springs within a year. Neither shop or ourselves can contact Sofology to get representative to come out to view. They will not answer a phone and only reply to e mails stating that someone will get back to us!

Not Happy with our £4000+leather suite.Furniture we recieved is sub standard in comparison with the store suite.Within 6-7 days, it looks as thoug a heard of elephants have walked over it.Store managers are trying to help.We are waiting for an assesment, and will add another review once that has been done.

Not Happy. Just had delivery of my sofa after waiting nearly 12 weeks and the headrest is not working and I now have to telephone to rectify problem. Spent 20 mins before I received an answer now have to take another day out of my time to arrange for an engineer to come out. No specific time slot given until the day before so it basically means another full day off for me. Having spent an hour in total on the phone arranging this very frustrating and disappointing. I asked for three dates and they were fully booked up and the only way to get an engineer out was with another company they work with called Homeserve and I will have to wait 2 weeks. Very upset is an understatement.After spending a lot of money on this sofa I am far from pleased. Working hard to pay for an item this is not fully functional is acceptable. I would put NO stars but it will not let me.
