Some of the yummiest pizzas I’ve ever had! Oregano fries were gorgeously crispy and soft inside and halloumi fries were really thick and delicious. The price of individual dips is kinda extortionate though at £2 for a tiny cup, but besides that everything else was lovely.

Pretty blown away, what an absolute hidden gem. The outside gives nothing away, but inside it is incredibly tasteful and modern. Service was impeccable, friendly and swift and the food was flawless. As someone who regularly travels to Italy for work, they are genuinely as good. 100% would recommend and will be returning.

First visit to the new restaurantBeen to the 1 in wool market many timesOn parking up outside the 1st thing you notice is what can only be described as a dump room, gathering its for storage, the window isn't clear but clear enough to see the mess insideOn entering the place looks great, spacious & modern but once you look closer there are many issues that could easily be solved, some safety hazards, some aesthetics but mostly food hygieneThe staff are polite, the food very nice but wouldn't rush back due to what I saw today

Absolutely loved dining at The Rustic Pizza before their soft launch. The view of the lake is stunning whether it's rainy and stormy or sunny it's so nice to be in this lovely restaurant and look out onto it. The food is amazing and I'm so happy we now have something of this calibre in Doncaster. Would definitely say it's comparable to Rudy's. Staff were wonderful and very attentive.For drinks I had the pistachio iced latte. After a bit of mixing, it's so good!! I ended up having two.I ordered the caprese salad which was a great portion and you could share it. The mozzarella had a great taste and texture to it. I loved that the balsamic is on the side because I hate when it's all over the food.I also ordered a quattro formaggi pizza and the chili honey and garlic aioli dip with a side of oregano fries. You can choose to have your pizza sliced or unsliced. I went for unsliced and they provide you with a pizza knife to cut it if you do.The pizza was perfectly done. The chili honey was so good and had a really strong honey flavour and the garlic aioli was also great.Afterwards I had a look at their gelato and ordered dulce de leche and pistachio. Both were yummy but the pistachio was amazing and I would 100% get it again.

What a fabulous place for a romantic meal. Came here on Sunday with a gentleman friend and we had a wonderful time.We were greeted at the door by the manager who found us a lovely table by the window. They have some really nice Christmas decorations up and coupled with the table lamps and dimmed lights, it really sets the tone for an intimate evening,The pizzas are outstanding and the service second to none, the buzzer system they have is perfect as they come when you need them. Our waitress Serena was lovely and very friendly. The wine is some of the best ive had in Doncaster or anywhere too!The manager even came over to check we had a nice evening at the end of our meal. Really great service from this place. Would give 10 stars if I could.

Visited here on Friday and was disappointed overall. The lady on the door (blonde hair & what my wife would say ‘voluptuous’) was not very welcoming at all, very cold and there seemed to be a strange atmosphere/tension about her. There was also a loud party sat near the entrance who were swearing and being obnoxious which isnt a great look on entering a restaurant.The food was great however, and the service from the waiters in the restaurant was well organised. It was great to see a manager actually managing the tables as this didnt happen on our last visit so great to see lessons being learned. The live music was a great touch, but the initial welcome /impression let our evening down. 3/5.Update: 9/12/23Reluctantly returned here as part of a party on Saturday evening and was pleasantly surprised. Lovely greeting at the door for everyone (a big difference to my last visit) lots of choices now on the menu and the service was superb from our waiter (young lad, brown hair). The burger was a little bland for my taste and my friends pizza was charred on the edges, but overall happy to update to 5 stars because of the service from the waiters and lady at reception. A final touch was that the manager remembered my friends from their last visit, well done that man (dark suit).We will return! 5/5

Called in for breakfast this morning. Excellent food and fantastic service, Dog friendly when seated outside & Enjoying the view water provided for pets also dog friendly ice cream for sale.Certainly going to try in the evening,good selection of wine / drinks/ cocktails. Would highly recomend, lovely location.

Booked for a large party of over 40 people. Service was very good considering the size of our group. The food was excellent. Restaurant and facilities were clean. Nice decor. Would go again! Thank you to the Rustic Pizza Co team for looking after us!

**Review: The Rustic Pizza Co, Doncaster**Rating: ⭐⭐⭐Upon arriving at The Rustic Pizza Co in Doncaster, a relatively new establishment, my initial encounter was a bit awkward due to some booking issues. Despite the restaurant being far from capacity, we had to have a discussion with the manager before being seated. However, it's worth mentioning that they may still be ironing out these kinks as they've only recently opened.We were first placed at a drafty table but were promptly moved closer to the kitchen. While the relocation was quick, considering the restaurant was only about 80% full during our visit, a more comfortable table option could have been offered.The pizza we ordered was served super-fast but had room for improvement. It was a tad doughy and had some charred bits, making us wonder about the state of the oven. Considering they've recently opened, these are aspects that could be refined over time.The dessert options were limited to chocolate-centric choices, which didn't suit my preference. There is a separate dessert station, although its setup is a bit unconventional as you have to walk over mid-meal to see what's available.The staff were friendly but seemed to be in a learning phase, frequently consulting the manager. Given that the restaurant has recently opened, this is understandable and likely to improve.All things considered, while there were some areas for improvement, it's important to remember that The Rustic Pizza Co is still in its infancy. The welcoming staff and the quick service suggest a strong potential for growth, making it deserving of an optimistic three-star rating.
