if you were to pigeon hole this course its purpose would fall into the beginners and seniors category . For beginners it will teach you restraint on the tee and course management elsewhere . As for the seniors they’ve earned their badges and this short flat course is perfect for them . That said the postage stamp sized greens are the equaliser here for anybody . Given the local competition though this isn’t a stand out course

Tree lined fairways small greens with subtle borrows ditches across fairways not one short par3 all over 170 yards need to be on top of your game or you could have a scary round

This has the potential to be a decent little course. Nice food /service upon arrival. Walked out to the 1st tee..... the fairways and rough were the same length! . With a decent mow and tlc could be a 4 star easily. A bit disappointing when you have driven 65 miles to get there....

Really gone downhill. Greens are patchy, Pro store is gone and I can never even get through to them on the phone to book a tee time.

Nice course really enjoyed my 9 holes. For the high handicapper like me it’s a good course to practice being accurate due to the tree lined fairways and small greens are a test for most players so something for everyone IMO.

Hi we visited here last sunday in a 4 ball charged us £22 each after 3pm and failed to mention there was 4 temporary greens and a par 3 hole that wasn’t in play on the back 9. Absolutely shocking course wide birth it much better value for money in Essex!

My local course terrific value for money, useful asset to the area and some good holes. True parkland course and like the semi urban feel aswell on some holes.This would be 50 euros to play in Europe so lets appreciate it. Very acceptable challenge and enjoyable. Some very good big hitters of senior age with no technique which is great to see and interesting. Might suffer from some petty vandalism as 1 flag was missing. Driving Range needs to be more accessible or exploited as there are good players that use it.
