Allerthorpe Golf & Holiday Park Retreat

This is not a great course any more - unfortunately a 0 rating is not possible This company has had total disregard for local feeling and have pushed ahead with their plans to fit as many cabins as possible on the land - laying a sewage pipe through the village of Allerthorpe without even having Planning Permission - they deliberately went ahead with this even though they had said they would go across fields- they have lied to us and seem not to care about the local people living in the village. I would not trust a company like this to spend any money on a cabin in this location!

Went for the golf only. 9 hole course does have a few challenging holes but the greens are not great. 18 holes is 9 holes twice. Groundsmen are doing a grand job. £13 for 9 is a bit steep though.

Visited over the weekend. Had a meal at JJs the host was great made us both laugh. The food was amazing I had ribs and they was cooked beautifully and girlfriend had chicken burger which she said was lovely. Big shout out to DAVE in the kitchen.

The Park itself is hardly exclusive, it’s one of 3 all of which ‘border’ one another. The 9 hole Golf course is available and in use, the restaurant however is opened and closed at the whim of staff. (With no prior notice given to diners nor ‘on course’ golfers) There are NO caravans / Lodges in situ, the grounds themselves are more of a building site, than a luxurious countryside location. The only safe access / egress to the park is via motorised transport on a ‘B’ road (Main Street) with NO secure refuge or lighting available for those who wish to indulge in those highlighted walking or cycling visits to the local village (pub) and or countryside.

I had a great experience in the restaurant today, friendly staff and good service.The food was excellent, I had the currywurst from the streetfood menu and can highly recommend it.Worth the ride out if you want a nice bite to eat.

Amazing place to spent your holidays with your dear one

I couldnt thank this place and the whole team that works their enough.I am a service service user from necs (karen and Sam) and i got the privilege to stay in the lodge for the night. The lodge was in excellent condition and had a relaxing feel, a homely feel, this is good for me as was a place i could relax and get away from my mental health. It was so quiet and peacful and welcoming. I loved going in the hot tube. For tea we went to the restraunt on site, the staff was amazing, friendly and did everything for us and went out of their way. I had a pizza burger, what i liked as it was differnt and it tasted lush.
