I come here twice a week with my little one and always buy at least coffee, juice and and ice cream. Usually food too. Today my partner and our little one visited the cafe and the service from the manager was so unnecessarily rude. My partner went over to the fridge and took a juice for our 2 year old child then the manager storms over to him and aggressively says NO those are not for sale! We havent priced those yet and never had those before. My partner explained to him that he bought this juice from the cafe last week so surely you know the price to which that the manager responds NO WE HAVE NEVER SOLD THOSE BEFORE! And proceeds to repeatedly shout no no no! I am shocked that a manager can speak to a regular customer like this especially Infront of his two year old child. I feel very let down and uncomfortable to return to this cafe again which is a shame.

I'm a local, 10 minutes walk away and I've been here a few times at peak and off peak times. The staff are always friendly.However, the service is always super slow. It's embarrassing. Everytime I've been here people have been complaining about waiting too long to get their food/drinks.On my last visit I ordered two coffees and waited almost 15 minutes for them. Ridiculous.The cafe actually ruins Hove Park - it's a shame there aren't better proprietors who can run it properly. Or another cafe could be added to make it more competitive.Cafe Monella is the closest cafe near the park and it's much, much better. Head there before you get to the park.

So many good things to say about Hove Park Cafe - they always have an amazing display of cakes and pastries (I often get a pistachio or vanilla cannolo, they are REALLY good and the perfect size). You can also order a little cut up sausage if you want to give your dogs a treat. I've also been here for breakfast and their bacon and egg bap is one of the best I've had in Brighton, they don't skimp on the bacon and the fried egg is always runny and delicious.

We love Hove park kids love too and the doggies true family park . The cafe is a great bonus often have lunch here , fabulous food hot and cold made fresh every day , great prices .

Tons of great vegan food including ice creams, cake, breakfast, drinks, and sanwiches. Very dog friendly. Plenty of outdoor seating, semi sheltered porch seating, and a little indoor seating.
