The Neighbourhood - Student Accommodation Cardiff

The neighbourhood is the first place that i have moved in away from home. And i can promise you that nothing feels lesser than home over here. Everyone is super enthusiastic to help you, they care about the little things! You will always see everyone smiling and greeting you.. even the students here are pretty generous.. and this chirpy and happy vibe keeps you alive when you miss home or you are filled up with assignments!It has been 5 months of me being here in Cardiff staying in my lovely studio, where i have everything i need..you wake up to coffee and chocolate croissants and when friday hits you and you come from a busy work day.. the hot and pipping pizza is served for you with some jazzy drinks! The gym and the tv room are my favourite places! Lounging on the sofa and studying reminds me a lot of home. Everyone from Sian, Saaed, Andy, Kelly are super nice and sweet.. they take every problem to be their own personal problem! The price i pay for the place is absolutely worth it, i’m just 10 minutes away from the buzzing city centre and the supermarkets and the beautiful parks.The reason I chose to stay here was because i found that the interiors are pretty new and well developed and I am big fan of modern interiors! I have also invited friends and the communal kitchen is really cosy to sit over a meal. The seating area outside refreshes your mind out and you can sit there when the sun is out to enjoy the lovely weather.I have made friends here, and the best thing is - we share food with each other.. it is like a mini family and you can reach out each other at any time! I also feel really safe of someone being at the reception at all times and this gives me a good night sleep!We celebrate every festival here as our own and i can’t wait to celebrate Holi here with everyone!I would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking to be in the heart of Cardiff! xx

The Neighbourhood is an amazing building to live in. The staff is super friendly and helpful. They provide free breakfast and coffee every morning, free pizza every Friday, and organize many events with festive foods and drinks. The building is located close to City road, which means it's a short walk away from many restaurants, shops, supermarkets, parks, club etc. There's a gym, cinema room, laundry room, karaoke room, dining room and a lounge area with football and pool table. It's really easy to make friends as some of the other university students living here hang out and chat in the communal areas.I feel every secure living here as people can not access the builiding without a keycard. I couldn't have asked for more from my first year living in a student accommodation building.

Super friendly and helpful accommodation staff, hygienic and well furnished rooms, convenient facilities. I made the right choice in choosing to live here.

The building is sooo big, we could get lost in it haha! I feel in security here, the staff is super friendly and helpful. I had to self-isolate for 10 days, and as soon as I called them to say that groceries were coming or anything else, they were ready to help me.I live in a penthouse on the 9th floor and my view is absolutely beautiful.There are rooms that I’d like to access such as the gym, but I arrived during the lockdown, I will have to wait for this! Staying here for six months will be easier than I thought with that confort! I recommend the Neighbourhood!

I stayed here for about a month when I moved to Cardiff. The staff were particularly helpful.It’s a lovely student accommodation and I’ll recommend to anyone.Thanks Dave and Lisa for being super helpful.

Amazing place to live!Great location, close to the city centre and lots of really nice places to eat on City road. The staff are really friendly and helpful and are always ready to help or have a chat. The whole place has a very homey feel to it. The common areas are really great too, the rooms are nice and cozy and it's really easy to make it your own and feel like home. There is really nice free coffee in the morning, along with pastries, toast, and fruit. Overall, best student accommodation I've ever lived in!

Fantastic place to stay, the staff are really friendly and happy to help with any queries or problems, no matter the size. Breakfast pastries in the morning and a coffee, as well as fruit if you wish, are a great way of starting your day, as you can just grab and go, either back to your room or lectures. Fridays are usually pizza and beer nights and provide an ideal way of catching up, particularly around the pool table. There is a welcoming party, halloween and Christmas parties to look forward too. The rooms are a decent size, and with the bills included you don’t have to worry about additional costs.Overall the best accommodation I have found that is affordable, safe, friendly and warm, that is not far from the centre of Cardiff (10 minute walk) or the various universities.

Great accommodation! I’ve been a uni student for more than three years, so it’s fair to say I’ve stayed at and visited many student accommodations. The Neighbourhood stands out from them all. It’s the the most social accommodation - every evening (and even the day) there’s always Neighbours hanging out downstairs. Then the management team put on a variety of socials such as Halloween and Xmas parties. There’s a good compact gym, communal kitchen and a cosy tv lounge. The rooms are great too! I’ve dropped some photos below these are the silver/gold studio in the old building.

Love it so far! The decor is cosy around the building, it's got a very nice feel to it! My favourite thing about this accomodation that other private halls I've stayed in haven't had are vending machines and a 24/7 staff that allow you to get mail or sort any problems out at any time of the day. The free breakfast everyday and food on Friday evenings is an excellent touch and the events held by the staff are fantastic. It's really lovely. I've yet to experience any major problems here.

This is such a wonderful place to live- the rooms are nice and modern and the staff really make this accommodation stand out. They make the place feel like a community and the weekly events and competitions help to bring all the residents together (which was very helpful at the start of the year!) I would recommend this place 10/10
