Buying a house can be challenging, even in the best of times, and when things go wrong, it can turn into a nightmare. Unfortunately, that's exactly what happened to us when we encountered unexpected issues with the house we wanted to buy, and problems with other buyers further down the chain only added to the stress, resulting in many sleepless nights.
