i use this station regularly and although its a bit out of the way it always seems clean and well looked after. I do find it a bit strange that there are no staff on site particularly if the lifts arent working and a passenger cannot manage to get up the stairs as its quite a long walk but otherwise enjoy using this station just out of town.

Absolutely fabulous area to buy jewellery at reasonable prices or get a bespoke piece made. It's a bit like stepping back in time as lots of old building's (and new) all selling jewellery. Just about every building was a workshop or shop dedicated to the craft.I notice that lots of places also buy scrap gold.Easy to get to from central Birmingham. Either train or tram. I got the tram to Vyse Street station. I used my West Midlands day tripper ticket that's valid on buses, trains and trams.Took about 5 minutes from city centre..

If you are looking for something special for your loved ones this is the place to come. You will be welcomed with open arms. We visit often just for a chat or to get items cleaned always a pleasure. This is also a good place to park for a visit to the city centre. Free parking available at the weekend and a short tram ride to the city.

No ticket office, staff, toilets etc on site, and a long walk down to the platforms.

At our visit it was clean and well looked after. Good interchange for for the tram as wellRegular services connecting Snow Hill and Moor Street and Brindley place (for Gas St Basin) via tramLots of stairs to overbridge and booking office from platform level. Both lifts were working at time of visit. All areas are well litAccess to the Jewellery Quarter as it says with some great shopsAlso a great vegan Indian called Vegan Dhaba. Look it up

Forget the mass produced high street brands come to the jewellery quarter and buy unique high quality reasonably priced items. Support local businesses which are a dying trade as mass produced low quality items are becoming the rage in recent years

Homeless people sleeping on the platforms using the station’s carpets as blankets. And urine all over the lifts floor. Absolutely filthy station.
