Midwives are polite and friendly enough.Receptionists are the real problem - super unhelpful and no chance of them passing on any messages. Straight up rude in tone and leaves a bad taste. You would've thought there'd be more tact with expecting mothers.

Really poor service. I got a letter from Kings College after a pelvis surgery. I called too many times before asking my partner to go there and show them the letter. I was feeling too much pain on my sciatic nerve. Just wanted someone to review my medications and the attendant was really arrogant, it seems that she does not like her job or os really tired and over loaded of tasks, she is not professional at all... and said that I just could be helped in 2 weeks. My case was urgent, I had to go to a walk-in GP instead !!!!!! Stupid folks working there!!!

Total idiot on reception. My 83 year old mum has mobility issues and was informed by a telephone call that she had an appointment there. They told her a 1st class letter was in the post, but even though it’s one a mile away, has yet not appear mat-side.So, she arrives for her appointment with a district nurse and was greeted by a male receptionist who informed her that this facility only dealt with neonatal care.He helpfully directed mum across a fairly busy road to a dentists office.Whom, quite obviously, do not deal very often with venous leg ulcers. After a wasted journey and issues with the bus, mum arrived home to be greeted by a district nurse informing her she had missed her appointment.Mum preemptively cut across the impending tirade and said she had been there and where is the letter you where meant to have sent. The nurse could not be more helpful after.I rang too, prior to mums visit as I wanted to know how long was the referral period. The guy who answered, possibly the receptionist who mum met? He asked for her details, when he could not find them on his system (even though they were on our doctors and another local surgery), he would not answer any questions!I asked, how many days a referral would take and he still would not tell me.As I have not been referred.Pointless backside, not my problem and this may mean I have to do some workisms.FYI: Finally, mum did arrive at the correct address. The district nurses are on the 1st floor!

Absolutely awful service. I had an appointment at 9a.m., first in the morning. They left me waiting for no reason for nearly an hour, no explanation given, no apologies given. They even did not knew I had an appointment that THEY booked for me!

The receptionist hangs up before you even get a chance to respond and very unhelpful. Why be a receptionist if you hate talking to people?!Next time, called reception at 3pm. 35min on the call and no one has answered. How are you meant to book anything?! This needs to be sorted...

The health center entrance is accessible to wheelchair users and strollers. The staff is polite. They do have accessible lift and toilets. The COVID measures are in place and face covering is compulsory. There are hand sanitisers in place to be used. Cleanliness is maintained. A prior appointment is needed for the visit so make sure you make one before visiting !
