Loompit Lake

This is a beautiful place to visit and enjoy a relaxing walk along the footpath which runs between the river and the lake.If you're into bird watching and nature photography as I am, you will enjoy sightings of Cormorants, various waders, Great White Egrets, Swans and many more. You may even spot a Grey Heron or two perched in the trees.If you continue along the trail it will eventually take you round to Trimley Marshes Nature Reserve.All in all a wonderful place to visit and the people you pass along the way are friendly which makes it just about perfect. Nice beach for the little ones to enjoy as well.

Great walk and place to get away from everything. Great for birds if you like spotting them. You can't walk all the way round as it's private.
