The Station Beefeater
Ate in the attached pub as the restaurant was fully booked. Rather soulless and tired furnishings. Burger was ok , but not exceptional. Poor selection of beers. Certainly not a destination pub, despite its good location opposite the station.

Staff don't seem massively bothered, Matt behind the bar was just downright rude to the point where myself and others don't want to order a drink at the bar. Staying in the hotel next door for work, meal deal prepaid on the room, but half of the menu seems to have disappeared for the festive menu" which we have to pay extra for. Ate out most nights and just paid for myself because it wasn't worth the hassle."

Came in on Sunday for some late lunch. Molly served me and she was brilliant! My drink came out right away, and was incredible, one of the best espresso martinis Iv had! And then the halloumi burger I had was lush! Super flavourful and the chips were done to perfection!With Mollys friendly service and amazing food from the chief, I am happy to leave Beefeater Horsham 5*!

I haven’t anything bad to say apart from the manager of this place is an absolute swine. He’s always incredibly rude and ignorant and makes you feel so unwelcome. I never leave reviews but felt it was warranted as this has happened on every visit. (And I’ve overheard a lot of guests and staff also sharing similar feelings towards him) The staff and ladies there are absolutely fab and I’m so sorry they work under such a horrible, self absorbed man. Needs training in communicating and welcoming guests.

Terrible experience in Horsham ‘Station’. Waited 15 mins to be approached to get seated, after 20 min we ask if anybody taking orders. Food arrived quickly, but.. poached egg was more like hard boiled, grilled tomatoes were like boiled - I’ve sent them back and advised - these are not grilled. I’ve agreed to have tomatoes change and yet again - boiled looking ones arrived. Very understaffed, busy breakfast time with only 2 waitresses- one running doing everything, another one just dishing out plates. Tables stayed untidy long after people have gone. We will never be back and will never recommend this place.

3:45pm Tuesday- Cheesy chips ordered; got given fries that are harder than rock, but the cheese is melted so that's nice.- Service was incredibly quick, it's not a busy time- decent looking place, a standard dine-in pub setting but no effort in the food whatsoever

Went for Sunday lunch, very very disappointed. The meal came to us barely warm , the veg was not cooked and yorkshires cold in the middle. We complained and were offered a fresh dinner, this came back exactly the same! Cold and hard. We ate it as by this time we were hungry but complained. We were offered a free pudding and coffee. But I don't eat sweet puddings being type 2 diabetic. Very poor ! Chef obviously couldn't care less and they weren't even very busy!

It was my birthday and they put 2 candles in my Chocolate Torte with a Champagne bottle shaped candle which was very nice. I told the waitress it was my birthday today but I wasn't expecting them to put candles in my dessert. A very enjoyable time.

Had a really delicious lunch here today. The curry, chunky chips, Caramel Apple Betty desert was of great proportion, delivered with a smile by the friendly waitress called Jess.My daughter had the open chicken chibatta with chunky chips followed by ice cream with chocolate flake & wafer. Washed down with the refillable diet coke & Fanta Orange. All in all, it was a lovely meal and didn't break the bank.

Oh dear, I remember when going to Beefeater was a bit of a treat. Service was slow and uninspiring, we watched our food sit waiting to be brought out for over 10 minutes, and then it turned up looking about as inspiring as a McDonald's burger that had been stood on. The cheese wasn't melted, it had barely got warm, the coleslaw was nothing special, you'd get better from a grub stop van.No wonder we saw others walk out before they'd even ordered....
