I can highly recommend Origin if you have a SEN child. My daughter was petrified of having her hair cut, after a couple of visits with me and watching others have their hair cut, my little girl asked to have hers done. Lynne was amazing and immediately set her up in the chair and gave her hair a trim and my little girl was absolutely over the moon. Lynne is very patient and totally understands how daunting a hair cut can be to a SEN child. I'm also aware that Tobias is great with SEN children too.It can be really hard to find a hairdressers who understand and accept the challenge of cutting a SEN childs hair, but Origin is absolutely amazing and I would not take my daughter anywhere else (she wouldn't go anyways, she adores Lynne!) So I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Origin for any SEN parents who are in need of an understanding hairdressers.

Brilliant and very friendly, good price too

It was my first experience with Orgin and it will be the last.Pros: the hairdresser did listen to my request and tried hard to attend to my requests. So, thank you for that.1. Cons: I was charged way higher than the quote I got when I did the skin test. Lynne gave me a qoute around 70 quid when I did the skin test and told her exactly what I want to do. I ended up paying +100 quid for things I have not asked for. So expect to pay extra and be charged more.2. They seem to book so many people together at the same time so expect the hairstylist to leave you waiting for so bloody long. My appointment was at 11 and finished at 3.40. I was told it will be roughly 2 hours to do base colour+ bits of highlight. I left my kid with my friend, promising her to come after roughly two hours and a half. Guess what!!!! I ended up spending almost 4.5 hours just becauae i was waiting for my hairdresser to finish with other people because she was busy with them. I was put in a very difficult situation with my friend who had to cancel going out to an already booked event.3. Each hairdresser is self-employed so if someone give you a quote and you are booked with another person you will pay differently.4. One major concern was they were really welcoming but once you leave, they start talking behind your back. You can notice this everytime a client leaves.If you can wait so long, pay extra and be charged for things you did not ask for, you can then give the salon a try
