Apparently this is not an official website. Turned up this morning, museum shut. Telephoned museum number only to be told.that the Correct website is owned by Twinwoods Festival. Not at all helpful on the phone. Wil not be attempting to return despite being a Glenn Miller fan. When look for Twinwoods festival website, there is no mention of the Glen Miller Museum?

This small but very interesting museum is well worth a little of your time if you're in the area. Located at Twinwood where Glenn was last seen alive and with his music playing in the background, we found it moving and informative and will no doubt return when next at the festival that started out to honour the great man.

Tricky to find, Google maps takes you to a dead end, use Waze. What a find. We've lived in this area for 25 years but didn't know about the museum until two days ago!Lots to see andto read, with memorabilia of WWII alongside the Glenn Miller story. Even some German war time memorabilia too. We'll be going back to check out the WWI and aviation museum. At £5 pp it's fair value and the 'naafi' for a drink and a cake complete an afternoon.Glad we found you

This is a bit of a gem - stuffed full of nostalgic objects that cover militaria, Glen Miller as well as the home front. I was impressed by the mini shops of the 1940s and loved the miniature railway too. The NAFFI is an authentic tearoom - quite basic refreshments for sale. Most of the site is accessible for those with mobility issues with the exception of the control room on the upper floor.Have to go back to have a look at the rest of it.Free for under 16s. Tickets quite cheap, so cash is probably best. Only open Sundays from May to September from 10 am - until 4pm.

What I saw from the car park looked interesting but I couldn't see any more as my visit was extremely short as I found that they don't except card payments for entry so a 90 mile trip there for nothing. Can I suggest you put this information on your website so no-one else has the same problems.
