Portrush Surf School

Fantastic first surf lesson. I was really nervous beforehand but once we got in the water TK was brilliant at easing us into how to surf, and encouraging us throughout the whole lesson. We had a good long time in the water, and the wetsuits, gloves and changing facilities were great quality. I will definitely be back for more lessons and would 100% recommend Portrush Surf School.

Brilliant morning paddle boarding with TK. He took my husband and I out and was a great instructor. Highly recommend taking some time out of your usual schedule and booking a lesson.

I've had two surfing lessons with Portrush Surf school and both have been fantastic.Class sizes were ideal for me as a beginner, advice and tips were being given all the time. The instructors were so encouraging and I honestly felt that they really wanted me to improve.Classes were friendly and there were smiles all aroundEquipment was great and the showers were roasting. I'll be back.

A group of six from our family attended the two hour paddle boarding lesson on 11th August. It was the best craic. Arrived early and chatted with Johnny and could tell from then it was going to be great. Kitted us out with wetsuits and life jackets before making our way to the water with the paddleboards and paddles. Johnny's expertise and teaching was superb. So much so that all six of our group managed to stand from early into the lesson. Despite only being a 2 hour lesson, it felt like we were messing around on the waves for ages. Initially I had worried about value for money but it was worth every penny and I will definitely return for more paddle boarding and possibly might try the surf lessons too. All of our group agreed. Highly recommended

Brilliant time at Portrush Surf School, we really enjoyed our lesson and only wish we had more days to enjoy there! Thanks to TK everything was very smooth, and was good craic. Top quality wetsuits and boards. We will definitely be back!

My daughter went to surf school for the week and had an absolute blast ! The instructors were fab and she loved every minute !We booked a family surf session but due to poor surf conditions (which were excellent SUP conditions) we learned to SUP instead !We were all novices and after a few rounds round the harbour we were up and crossing the bay exploring a cave !Huge thank you to Johnny for his patience and excellent instruction!

My partner and I had a great time learning to surf! TK is a great instructor and tailored the lesson for every person’s ability. Overall good craic and definitely worth trying!

Would definitely recommend, had an amazing lesson with an amazing instructor, overall it was a great time and i will be back!

Booked my 2 sons in for a group lesson. In the end it turned out to be only the two of them. Since it was their first time they didn’t know what to expect but the instructor was great with them and they had a blast. Would definitely book with them again .

Great session. Marty was able to give each person in the group individual attention and advice. Great fun too!
