Just a friendly advice, lake must be polluted. I see that people comes for fishing or whatever, company just near by Thompson Davis has tons of rubisb laying on the floor, do I need to explain you what happens when it's raining and where all that water it's going? Probably not! Be careful, it's very dangerous.

Great spot for fishing with family. There is a small playgroud nearby for children. Great spot for kids to explore nature, observe bugs and small animals.

Picturesque bridge over the reservoir, large patches of garlic grass on the farside as well makes the place smell very nice. Plenty of birds and ducks hanging about in the water and reeds. The angling platforms make for good photograph vantage points.

Beautiful spot for a day out. Ducks to feed, fishing spots, scenic walks, small play park and playing fields, and woods to explore.Take food and drinks though, theres no cafe or anything. Even though you are actually a stones throw from Town centre, you feel like youre in the middle of nowhere

I enjoyed the visit, but the birds are getting caught up with the fishing line. I watched and helped out with the rescue of a Heron entangled with a fishing line hanging from trees. Talking with a volunteer warden" it's just careless there is no need to cast a line so high - it's usually those who don't have the experience. The Heron appeared to be ok when released
