Would like to be as empathetic to NHS staff as much as I can but unfortunately the admin/receptionist service here was really disappointing. There was absolutely no care shown, a month to turnaround a simple form, and a very high fee that was (i) not initially communicated; (ii) doesn’t align with the website (to which the receptionist absolutely zero regard for)

This place is a farce. The GP (temp/locum/permanent) don't ever want to see you face to face. What is the point of having them there. They may as well be at a call centre in Timbuktu - all they do is use PATCHS to ask you silly questions like 'are you worried' DUH you're ill of course you will be worried.I've had a skin condition for over 6 weeks - keeps spreading and getting worse and 4 'zombies' have given me different theories. None of them have asked to see me and why should they - they can use pictures. None of them agree its what the other has given me some medication for. SO I INSISTED on a phone call from DR Mitchell (Didn't happen) - I then completed another PATCHS - my 5th request (the receptionist/call handlers are worse than a chocolate fireguard) - and INSISTED to be referred onwards to a specialist and NO I don't want to try another cream. I asked what they thought they were treating - no idea.Do I a) sue for negligence (my skin condition is bad) b) leave the surgery and move to another one c) give up and go private?I know of other cases that are being reported.

I think 1* it to much for Willow Tree Family doctor . This is the first time I ask my practice to run some test because I have some health issues. The GP told me to call and book myself for the blood test I call all ready 3 time and the answer is the same . First no appointment for the blood test… I ask if it for this month or for this year the receptionist answered no appointment and to call other day to try to book in . Other day I call again and they told me they have availability only in 28 of this month I told them I’m away and I will like to book the next month because I’m calling now in the beginning of the month and they send me to have the test in the end of the month. The answer back was : they are not able to give appointments and to call next month…… this is not a answer….. definitely this is not a service for someone ho pay them taxes and I have a write to be see for a GP .

Came in this Evening to collect a few letters the reception team were amazing helped me with my queries. There were professional and polite and no wait time. I’ve had bad experiences before but the 3 girls at reception were amazing helped me with my issue and solved it efficiently. Thank you so much.

Worse RECEPTION ever had in my life, RUN don't go to them after 11 years with 6 times I needed them in total, never ever ever ever, good doctors like Dr. Michell Newman are actually wasting their knowledge and patcience because of unconsiderate, underpaid, understaff or untrained ( don't understand how she is working with people) RECEPTION!

The reception staff at Willow Tree Family Doctors lack professionalism and knowledge when contacted. Every time you call them, you receive inconsistent answers, making their service highly inconvenient. In April, I contacted them to book an appointment for the Whooping cough vaccine. The receptionist informed me that they hadn't received any information from the midwife, so I needed to confirm with the midwife before booking the appointment. Once I confirmed with the midwife and called back the receptionist, they scheduled an appointment for me after a month, blaming me for the delay, claiming it was already in their system since March. It's difficult to trust their statements, and the reception manager seems unaware of what's happening within the hospital. When providing feedback, instead of assisting with the process, they try to dismiss your concerns. To make matters worse, they even suggested that I obtain the vaccination from an external pharmacy by paying for it. It's unclear why the NHS would recommend getting a basic vaccination from an outside source when we pay significant taxes each month. This is not the only instance of their negligence. I called them multiple times for a pregnancy exemption certificate, and each time I received different answers from the receptionist. They even called me to the hospital to fill out the certificate, but when I followed up to understand its status, the receptionist claimed I would receive it from the midwife.

If I could take off even that star off I would. It used to be a very good clinic but turned out in the worse .The admin team and receptionist are not listening at all to patients and if you say your point they will try to intimidated speaking on the top of you to trigger your anxiety and to get rid of you.I paid for 2 letters for my ongoing health condition. I just got 1 and even if not explain the condition properly with all the medical details.from specialist. I asked a fitnote just a week after the letter request I asked to detail why was I taking time off that didn't have ending up in being asked to pay again for for a private letter when I have paid 2 letters just the week before and I just unfortunately got 1 letter. Just be really careful cous for sure these people here do not care about what you want and need, they just rely on their conceptions and very rigidly. This is just 1 experience but honestly the last years was just a horrible adventure with them .

If I could give the practice zero stars I would. They refuse to see patients in person even when they call in saying they are in pain. How are you going to diagnose certain patients of you can’t see them in person? I understand the Covid precautions, but if a patient asks to see a doctor in-person, why do you refuse? The doctors tell you to ring back to book an appointment for a blood test because they can’t be bothered to book themselves. They refuse to refer you to specialists. Filed a complaint 2 years ago, still waiting for the “meeting” with the practice manager. They do not care about the patients, especially their 60+ patients. I can’t say we have ever had a positive experience in our 20+ years with the practice. Can’t understand how they haven’t been shut down.

The reception team is so rude and so clueless. Where do they hire them? I can't believe I pay taxes for this kind of services. I wish I could stop paying NHS and go private. I guess I am gonna register back with my previous GP even if they are miles away. Better than going to this practice where they employ muppets.
