Ableworld Mobility & Stairlifts Blackpool

Just returned home from Blackpool store. What a wasted trip. Website says staff are friendly. Not so. The woman I spoke to was far from friendly. She couldn't be bothered to even give me information regarding the makes of the mobility scooters. She wandered off while I was looking. Showed absolutely no interest. A scooter is no small purchase. She could have just lost the company several thousand pounds in sales. If I had seen anything I liked, which I didn't, I wouldn't have bought it there anyway. If that was an example of their customer service regarding a potential sale, I dread to think what their after sales service would be like.

Absolutely amazing service.Was let down by another company and needed a wheelchair there and then and was able to help. Very friendly staff and would completely recommend them.Very cheap on hire prices too. Thank you all for your help

Thank you to the lady at the Blackpool branch ,who was so helpful when I phoned up regarding a stairlift .A very big thank you to Lee who came and explained the ins and outs of stairlifts,he was polite, informative,and enthusiastic.On going he left me a brochure to look through,I phoned the same day and in less than 48 hours I was riding up the stairs, I am sooooooooooooo pleased with the stairlift it's been in one week and I have gained so much independence back. Again Lee thank you also for fitting the stairlift.I will 100% recommend Ableworld not only to my friends but also to anyone who is reading this review .

I bought a lightweight folding wheelchair,I was greeted as I walked in,and the sales team demonstrated the item,I got a great price,and great service,at my Blackpool store

Took my 90 year old mother to this shop to look at mobility walkers, the staff here are so helpful and patient, showing my mother a range of walkers, taking time to adjust the height of the handle bars to different positions on each one. The one thing that struck me was the honesty of the staff, my mother really liked one walker in particular and was ready to purchase it but the sales staff pointed out that maybe that was not the best choice for her because her back was bent whilst using it. They showed her another one that may be more suitable and it was, but they suggested that she should go home and think about it before making a snap decision. My mother now has a new walker and a perfectly straight back when using it. Honest, non pushy and caring service. Thank you Abelworld.........
