I've been coming in this bar since it opened but just recently it seems to have strayed away from what it once was. Little to no live music and I thought supporting the local talent was great. If you're looking for a cafe bar (that doesn't serve food) then this is the place now.

Brill little pub in the heart of Barnsley, I used to go in here when it was a tobacconist with my dad brings back lots of memories. Friendly bar staff, my wife wanted a cocktail that was listed and they made her it and the Guinness was cheap and lovely. We will definitely be back (with the dogs)

Inexperienced staff, seamed to be on his own on a bank holiday. Service to slow. Not big enough really & not enough range in drinks. I wont rush back
