NCP Car Park Worthing Union Place

Missing one star because the ANPR didn’t work for this location. But it’s easy to pay through the app. Rest was ok, very close to the beach, £7.95 for 24 hours.

Only takes card payment, even though it's sates it takes cash. I got caught out, luckily a bystander was willing to pay for the ticket in exchange for cash, but can't imagine how you could do so otherwise watch out.

Kind of old but still very neat and organised parking lot. I have never used up my time here. The system should kind of refund unused times since you get to pay when you exceed your paid time.

This parking garage has one of the dirtiest staircases this side of Nepal, but then again, it has parking spaces, a good payment system and it's not too expensive. And, most important, it's in the middle of town. So let's just not touch anything on our way out, OK kids?

Not much to say about the car park itself, but the parking machines here are the least user friendly ones anywhere in town.That's if they are even working properly.Two out of three weren't working last time I was there.

Difficult to see instructions on ticket machines as plastic all cloudy. When it is dark there is inadequate lighting. Pricing jumps to all day nothingin between

Be aware that the 'autopay' feature on the NCP app doesn't work for this carpark. Having parked here without issue for MANY years using the machines, we downloaded the app and enabled auto-pay only to be graced with a £100 fine which they have down-graded as a 'gesture of goodwill' to £20. No notification on the app that auto-pay wouldn't work for this carpark versus any other and it's almost a month later before you get notification. NCP are also not registered with the ombudsman's ADR scheme, which provides further protection for customers. This speaks volumes. If I wanted to appeal, the amount would default back to £100 which I just can't afford. Awful experience.

Never struggled to find a space here and using the app gives you quite reasonable rates for parking in the centre of town but their new app is pile of garbage. A) you can only add one car so I now need a seperate log in for each car and B) sometimes your parking sessions don't show up in the app so you have to check your emails for when/how long you parked.

This is a good value for money car park in the heart of Worthing that I have used on many occasions. My only niggle is the machine that issues your parking ticket because it sometimes feels like you need a PhD to operate it, although this might be an age thing...sigh. Also, in fairness, I have used similar, probably the same, machines in other car parks in the UK.

Personally I've never had a problem parking here. Very close to town and probably the best in the area for price (YOU MUST DOWNLOAD AND PAY BY APP FOR DISCOUNT!). Normally plenty of spaces as well.
